There are hard compound tyres that can last 30 or so laps. But I can bet you, they're still faster than modern F1 given same tyres during the whole race. These V10 beasts can pull qualifying lap times for 20-25 laps in a row and smoked V6T's behind, since they do not care about saving fuel.

v10s were allowed until the end of 2007, nobody wanted them tho because in 2006, they limited the revs to 16000 while the v8 engines were unrestricted, which meant they could be as powerful as the v10s and were lighter. 20000 rpm in 2006 for the v8 19000 in 2007 and and 2008, until 18000 in 2009 until 2014. There was Toro rosso who used a v10 in 2006, and they planned on using it in 2007, but sadly the got ahold of a Ferrari v8, I say sadly because it would have been nice to have a v10 on the grid in my time, I was born in 2007 so that's sad

Those cars were the peak of raw horsepower/light nimble cars that made going to the races so fun. The sound was unbelieveable, the hybrid's completely ruined that aspect and have made such huge heavy cars it changed how they race entirely and not for the better in my opinion.

Yes, basically the pedals work in opposite fashion so if you downshift with right you can upshift with left etc etc because the paddles are actually one uniform piece of carbon
But why it does sound awfully similar to Ferrari's engine, as if it was powered by Ferrari not BMW, you couldn't distinguish between them, if it was a McLaren-Mercedes it would be obvious but not between BMW and Ferrari

The slick tires is good for 3 laps not race , but no TC Yes .
