When to change a diesel fuel filter? Got a 2.0 Diesel Velar, Manual says every 26,000km but the quality of diesel fuel we get here is questionable. Thanks in Advance
I changed the pollen filter and the cabin filter without a video 😄 There is actually no need to do this for the brake fluid and coolant. The boiling point is over 240 degrees Celsius. But I did change the transmission oil 😉😄 But I'll show that in another video.
👍🏻 thnks was just straight to point NO useless 💩 & clear ( talk, language etc 🤔🤯) for any1 to attempt. ? Would you know by chance anywhere to get that engine cover foam ? Not that its imp! ( Not JLR DEALERS). or is it best to go 🥺🥺 ebay //etc BSTD online.....
Thank you! For the cover foam, I would recommend that you either buy a suitable one and cut it to size, or look for the whole cover as a used part on the classified ad markets. Greetings, Peter
The fuel filter has a sponge on top, I don't know what function it does, but Spanish services also change it, you can see it in this video from Discovery Sport th-cam.com/video/JQ5YlllctPw/w-d-xo.html
Hey Jose, yes I know, but mine came without one. The only explanation I have for this foam is that the cover is not touching the filter or nothing is touching the ground wire. Best regards, Peter
I am a member of the Spanish evoque forum, I am going to recommend your channel, I also recommend you buy autel maxi ap200, you can do service functions, read and erase codes and control the particle filter, I also recommend that you review the distribution chains, since It is a serious failure of this engine, there is a lot of information on the internet. greetings and good job video about autel maxi ap200 th-cam.com/video/l8ZbcV1HdIs/w-d-xo.html
Thanks Peter. Just changed the diesel filter on my daughters Evoque with minimum problems.
Gut und einfach dargestellt. Super!
Danke dir! ☺️
Thanks for an instructive video, very clear and plenty of tips. I've now got the confidence to change my fuel filter.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything works out! 🤞
Great video. Do you happen to know, How do you drain fuel filter water tap?
Vielen Dank für das tolle Video.

Very well produced video - thnx!
Excellent video, Thank you. 🙂
Also how to get that missing sponge on top of the fuel filter?
Hey, I cut the square foam from another piece of packaging foam. The only thing that matters here is that the foam keeps the cover away. Best Peter
Genial muy bien video ! Voy a ver los demás así me hago yo el mantenimiento jeje un saludo 👍🏻

15,000-30,000 miles
You lack the pollen filter, intake filter and brake fluid change and coolant fluid to have a very complete service😄

Expensive aren’t they, £62! Seems to be only JLR that do the part…
