I've literally changed my baby on a bathroom floor before. There's a reason why you take your own changemat in diaper bags. It's so you can provide a clean space for your baby. This lady is just insane

That and, if that were me, I would've just taken some paper towels and washed the changing table/countertop and dried it myself. I've years of foodservice experience, I know how to keep it clean. Definitely report anything not on the menu to your health department.
That family sabotaged OPs restaurant, deliberately. They were purposefully callous toward the restaurant and have crushed their own consciences to the point they don't feel them anymore. I fear for the EP's child, they're going to be raised to be morally obtuse and continue the cycle...

My diaper bag came with a change mat as well (and so did the majority of the ones i saw online) so unless the bathroom is a legitimate biohazard there's no excuse for that behavior

Agreed. I'd have had the police on the phone the moment that I saw what had been done and would have done everything that I could, to identify those people. You should never let people get away with things like that, the manager should have called the police and got them prosecuted. Even without credit card details, facial recognition technology can often work wonders, and people who behave like this will no doubt be known to the police. People like this should not be walking free.

Im disabled so I can say 100% that the wife is NOT the AH. Until I was able to get disability my husband supported me fully. Hygiene products and all. Your husband did make vows of in sickness and in health. Yes, absolutely this! My husband went to the pharmacy to buy my meds, came to the hospital daily, to bring me home cooked food, so I didn't have to eat the nasty food there.. As a matter of fact, so did I, for him, when he was stabbed&robbed 10yrs ago.. I did everything I could, even when I was 8mos pregnant back then, because I love him.. Luckily he's better now, but oh my , it was a horrific time in our lives , because I thought that I'd be a widow, and have three kids to take care of ,by myself.. I'd do anything for him, as he would me.. We've been together for 23yrs, and married for 21yrs.. We married at 19&21.. And it was the best decision of my life.. He helped me get sober, and healthy again.. I used to use hard d because of childhood trauma, and I stopped using when I met him.. he said, me or the drugs.. I chose him.. I started using at 15, and had three od's at the age of 17.. I was at peace to die young, because my mom told me everyday that I'm worthless and didn't deserve anything good.. and I believed her, sadly.. When my husband saw how she treated me, he&his mom took me in,and helped me ,and for the first time in my life, I saw what love is and how it heals.. Sorry for the long story.. Hope you had an amazing holiday!

We threw a New Year’s party once and told everyone that no children were allowed.
So if they showed up with kids they would be denied or had to pay our daughters $100 for each kid to babysit.
Two showed up with kids and thought that we were joking.
We asked if they had money to pay for babysitting and they said no.
We said happy new years while closing the door in their faces.
Next New Year no one brought a kid with them because they knew what to expect.
The party was awesome and everyone had a great time.

It was a gas station with a McDonald's taking up the other half of the building. The store shared a bathroom with the gas station so it didn't have its own but there was one available regardless. Anyway when I got there it was empty save for one guy with his two kids. I order, get my food, and eat.
After I've finished I just hung around for a bit longer when I suddenly notice the guy sit his youngest on the table they were JUST eating at and proceeds to change the kid's poopy diaper right there while the other kid was finishing up their food. To make matters more disgusting after changing the diaper he goes on over to the drink station and proceeds to use the water dispenser tab on it to wash his hands. The father then gathers up his kids and leaves the garbage and the diaper right there on the table along with a huge mess of fries and junk all over the floor. I told the staff what happened before I left.

I can relate to story 2, there was a woman who had three kids. 2 were toddlers or a little older and a baby. The kids had left more food on the table than on their plates let alone ate the food. Even left a dirty diaper on the table then she immediately scurried out the door as I glared at her. There was a trashcan and a changing station in the women's bathroom. Yet she left the dirty diaper on the freaking table. Let alone let the kids play with their food and make a huge mess. It didn't help that it was also a very busy day and I was the table busser. My coworkers were appalled that she did that. And if I wasn't working I would have TOLD her off and an entire lecture on keeping her kids behaved in public.

Also, about a decade ago, I was in a chinese buffet restaurant and when I entered the bathroom to wash my hands, I saw a male customer rinsing his toddler's butt in one of sinks. Needless to say, I quickly told the staff about it & waited until they cleaned the bathroom after the jackass left. I never went back to that restaurant & they closed a few months later. 9_9

She was the one in the wheelchair and after seeing the shop had no ramp she went to get when these two men said they could lift it up the steps before she could explain what they were doing and she could walk they carried her in the wheelchair into the shop then back out once they were done she was so embarrassed for months that she would bump into them walking. In Karen's case she had no valid reason and just didn't care. But in other scenarios there just might not be any other alternative. Still, I'd hope the parent at the very least might approach management first, maybe they can find some way to accomodate the parent or suggest a location they can do so in private instead of right there on the table. Alternatively and I know no parent wants to make their kid suffer in a dirty diaper, they can try to quickly pack up their food to go and find a place to change their kid if no other options are available.

So, when my now ex wife decided that I had to go on my one Christmas present expedition with her, I grabbed one of those mobility scooters on the way into the store. What I noticed was that in the holiday confusion/rush, people didn't care that I was in a scooter and had my crutches slung across my lap while shopping. I got knocked around one too many time and told my wife I'd be back. I went to the home and garden center and grabbed an axe, which I then held on my shoulder and went back to find her. Last story. We use to have game nights/dinners with friends. We would alternate houses each week. For the longest time, my friends would just not parent their child when they came over. I reached my breaking point one day after 10 minutes of chasing their child everywhere. I walked into the kitchen and was asked what their son was doing. Let them know "I'm am not watching you son anymore" and that was followed by a crash in the living room. They asked what that was and I let them know if was probably the lamp I had been trying to keep their son away, Guess he finally knocked it down.
After that they watched their son anytime they came over. Loved the kid but I am not cooking, entertaining and trying to watch someone else child.

OMG! Abusive husband with the control of his wife and the money. It was all about appearances rather than what he got.

    Similar to story 2:
Worked at a small gas station/convenience store with a motel and the most disgusting/weird things I saw or was told about include:
    1. The owner's wife told me about how one woman was outraged that there was a customer only sign in front of the washrooms, there was no key just an open doorway to the male and female ones. After the woman left it was discovered that she took a large 💩in the center of the floor.
    2. Someone stole the toilet seat, shower curtain, 4 shower curtain hooks, and the rubber bathtub mat from the room they rented. The owners wife was not happy as now they could not rent the room until everything was replaced. So this person got an additional nights stay charged plus the cost of replacement stuff, plus $50 for the time to go to the store in the next town over/come back/install everything.
    3. Someone thought it would be a good idea to use the motel's towels to clean oil/grease from their engine. So they got a charge for entire towel set that had to be replaced.
    4. One day a mother and daughter come inside, took a quick scan of the place and then left without saying anything. After that I went outside to cleanup around the gas pumps. When I went out the mother and daughter were squatting down with their skirts hiked up. They had nothing on underneath and they were peeing onto the ground. The mom just stared at me as did the daughter. Then they left. I guess they didn't like the customer only sign on the washroom, but the door was open so they could have just gone in because who is going to stop someone from going to the washroom?
    5. Someone took a massive 💩on a motel room bed and just put the blankets back in place over it. The mattress and sheets were just tossed and the replacement costs were charged to their credit card we had on file.
Story 3: If I was OP I would have demanded a gift card for a decent amount as well because it is the stores fault as well for not making sure that their security people were not fully/properly trained.

This is an arrestable offense. The clearing of fecal matter is a HAZMAT issue and nay not be cleaned by employees. In most states the restaurant would be immediately closed pending an inspection. If the owner didn’t contact the police with the cc footage he or she was absolutely derelict in duty (so to speak).
Ordinarily I’m opposed to tracking people down on the internet but in this case I’m all for posting the footage and letting the internet “do its thing.”
