I just went through this process a week ago. It was the best putter fitting I've ever been through. I especially liked that they went through the grip options which didn't happen with the other fittings. Odyssey 11 triple track ordered.
Very informative tutorial on how a professional putter fitting should work. I am interested in the laser device that is used here. Where can I get it? Thank you very much!
Even the 34 inch putter looked to be way long for her. It would have been interesting to see how she did with the same putter head and grip she liked, but on a 33 inch shaft.
Hey Joe that could be a number of things from potentially aiming there to begin with to not opening the face up enough in the backswing or letting the face release to fast in the follow through. Best this would be to go in to a GOLFTEC and go through a putting analysis to just see what your aim and putting stroke looks like or if it is the lie angle on your putter.
@@GOLFTECLessonsFittings Thank you for the feedback!! Just curious though. When I first line up my toe is up. That would lean towards going a degree or 2 flat right? I know Seve Ballesteros putted with his toe up too.
Yes you could get your putter bent flat or go through a putter fitting so you have a putter that aims you straight and sits flat on the ground. Many of the great putters would actually have the toe slightly down if not perfectly flat to the ground.
Do you have any center shafted face balanced putters available? I don't ever see any at the Golftec I take lessons from, not to mention that they only seem to have the Edel EAS putter fitting tools.
Hey Hopp Man, which location do you go to? They should also have an Odyssey putter fitting system as well. I'm not sure if there is a center shafted option in that fitting kit however.
And there is the great debate, do you fit the club to the player or do you correct the players mechanics. For a better player who wants to replace their putter and has always addressed their putts with a slightly open stance like a Jack Nicklaus, I'll start with getting a putter that aims them straighter vs changing their set up position. That's where the pre fitting conversation is so important.

That's awesome! Glad you enjoyed it. 👊🏽
I can’t find pricing for just the putter fitting on the website. Looks like a great way to get dialed.

I tend to pull my putts and my toe is always raised up. What are somethings that cause those issues?

What brands do you have? It looks like only Odyssey putters.
Hey Ray! We also work with Edel - www.golftec.com/golf-clubs/edel

💯 It's happening
It’s not in your Needham location inmass
what is the breakthrough??? the aiming check?
Ability to swap out different grips, different shafts with different hostel bends on all the various heads. 👍🏼
She aims her feet left. The putter was not the problem

That is not a fitting when it is only one brand and one shaft. That leads to bias by the fitter and no choice by the player.

Give your local center a call and they can discuss pricing and availability with you along with various brands
