But I have a problem with mine, after cranking the truck and it does its animation, after a few seconds it does the animation again and beeps like it turns off and on. Ford has looked at it but has not been able to get it fixed. I wonder if I need a new one? You know ford they hate to fix anything on warranty.
I've done the cluster and many other mods to my 2019 XLT. Just finishing up the 2 tone Gray and Black leather from Katzkin. You really should consider the leather upgrade.

I have a log book in my truck that I track every fill up, oil change, fuel filter change and mod that I track a record my mileage with. It was important to me that it all match up perfectly. 👍🏼
If you want to continue to drive you can give a mileage estimate considering the 3-4 day transit time so that when it arrives you keep driving on your old cluster until you reach the programmed mileage on the new cluster and then do the swap.
Sweet video. I noticed your steering wheel is leather but has the black trim piece instead of the silver that comes on the lariat and above. Did you just swap the trim piece? I want the new steering wheel but don’t like the silver. 😂
You can estimate the mileage you would drive for the amount of time it takes to ship and he can program it for that. I just chose not to drive it since I have other cars I can drive and I also don't drive for work right now.

Question for you Sean or for @clustersbylvnitup ; I have a 2019 F-250 Lariat. Its a Canadian truck if that makes a difference. But I'm not able to see the temp readout above the coolant temp gauge (like your new 8" shows). I see in the comments that its recommended to change a line of code in FORScan, but is there a way to do it without? Seems like a great feature to have, but I don't want to go through the hassle of getting FORScan. TIA
Clusters by Livnitup yup. But unfortunately for some reason my truck won’t let me into those to change them. Have went through 5 different OBDII connectors and 2 different laptops with forscan and nothing.
@@carls2210 I've never heard of anyone having an issue adding the digital temps on an 8" cluster before. Is your truck a 2020? The following change to IPC (ASBUILT configuration) 720-07-01 xxxx xE5x xxxx (for Diesel) or 720-07-01 xxxx xA5x xxxx (for gas) should work fine. If you originally had a 2" or 4" cluster and upgraded to the 8" then when you connect in FORScan you'll have to click no when it asks to load your VIN profile so that it discovers the 8" cluster's part # and then save this as the new profile and it should allow the change in IPC.
@@carls2210 If the tune was interfering then FORScan wouldn't complete the connection to your truck at all and wouldn't find any modules. You could try the newest version of FORScan and connect and if FORScan can't see the PCM because of the tune it should ask you for a h/w part # of your PCM in order to proceed. Otherwise you could remove the tune and try to connect if you're not getting past FORScan seeing the PCM
because there are no used 2020 Super Duty clusters available so new from Ford is the only choice. A 2020 now has Drive Modes so a 2017-19 cluster isn't compatible in the 2020.

You’ve almost built a Lariat, but likely at a cheaper cost, and in some cases, using higher quality upgrades than Ford delivers.

So this needs to be programmed with the miles before hand. So the truck can not be moved at all until you install in the new cluster?

I swapped from a rubber steering wheel from the XLT to a lariat and kept my black trim piece. Good eye dude!

Prices constantly change. Just search around until you find something fairly priced.
Is it possible to put this cluster in a 2016 F-250 King Ranch if the steering wheel is upgraded at the same time to a 2017+ one?
Does the car have to remain parked until the part comes in so that the programmed miles do not change?
You can do it that way or you can predict/guess a higher mileage to be programmed so you can continue driving the truck.
So once you tell him what miles and hrs are on the truck you can't drive it until you install new cluster?

You wouldn't be able to add it without FORScan.
Dang it even comes with the actual temp read out above the coolant gauge.
and above the transmission temp if you choose to have that as the top-right gauge
