    After watching this video, I purchased both the Builtright Industries dash mount and the 67 Designs Carbon Fiber phone holder for my 2016 F150. OUTSTANDING products and the fit and finish is flawless! Keep up the good work and thanks!

    Finally more truck mods! The new phone is great, I am thinking about using it for a blog soon as the new cameras are insane. Thanks for watching y’all!

    Mounted mine in a 2016 F450 to my rear view mirror with a small clamp and 4 items from ram-mounts. Solid no drilling and perfect for my view.

    I have a 2019 F250. Been scared to drill ANYWHERE into it. So, after watching your video I gave it a shot. So easy! Thanks for sharing.

    I have a BuiltRite Shelf and they are awesome. You should install some power ports up there in the shelf, then you wont have cord dangling all over the place.

    • @moostang09
      @moostang09  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a great idea. I would like to find a way to make the 67 design mount wireless charging. It would be a challenge but would but super convenient.

    • @smar7056
      @smar7056 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you aware of any videos or instructions on how to add power ports up there? That's actually what I am here searching for. Where would you tap into to get the power? Thanks for any help you can provide.

    • @mikebrand7922
      @mikebrand7922 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@smar7056 No, I have not seen any videos on this. I tapped in to the 12VDC Power Port on the Dash since it was managed by the BCM to auto turn-off power based on vehicle settings and it is in close proximity. If you have an F-250 w/upfitter switches you could use one of the switches to control power.

      This is genius. If you could somehow reroute the center console USB’s up there so you have CarPlay that would be the bomb

    either hold the piece yo uare drilling over the edge of the gate, or use a block of wood, because when you penetrated the plastic, your bit hit the gate.

    I just did the same thing to my Nissan Frontier, makes a world of difference but it was hard to find anyone who makes a mount for it.

    I enjoyed watching your videos and also purchased several upgrades for my 2017 F250. I really like this phone mount. However, I also have installed a Vantrue N5 4 Channel WiFi 360° All Sides Dash Cam. My phone mount gets in the way of the cab video. Do you have any other recommendations for a phone mount? Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work!!!

    Really cool products shown. Super beefy n sturdy so much so that the very same plastic tray Ford has to offer now needs tobe upgraded to a polished billet steel tray so when you wiggle your phone mount the tray will not want to fall off.😎👍🏻 Great vid.

    I like most of your mods that have to your truck! However the i phone mount. I don't think it looks good and you lose must have storage space. I'd like to see the mount located in a better place. Another product I'd like to see is some floor storage under the floor mats! And a storage idea for dead spaces in the side of the super duty 8 ft. bed my truck has a lot of wasted space .

    I don't know about anybody else, but as far as a drill template is concerned, they have all torn on me. I've learned to tape them down with scotch tape and then use a drill bit with my hand to mark the item to drill through the paper.

  • @braedenwalton1480
    @braedenwalton1480 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I find this pointless if you have the navigation screen option. Apple car play does everything you need. If you have a android or something else might be helpful.

    • @moostang09
      @moostang09  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s all preference really. I average between 65-80 calls a day, a number of text messages and emails along with making about 30 stops to different job sites and my office. This proves to be a way better choice for me than apple car play. While Apple car play can be nice it is not my preferred interface on the truck’s screen. Oh I also forgot to mention that I have two cell phones and those stats are only for one...

    • @braedenwalton1480
      @braedenwalton1480 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Understood. On my ‘19 F350 Lariat Sport apple car play works good for me and I do a lot of calling throughout day aswell. Guess it’s all personal preference
