I have the Moto G Play 2024. It's an extremely solid device. Especially at the price point. Corning Gorilla Glass , stereo speakers. Ram boost the bumps it from 4 to 6gb ram.
I have the 5G stylus. It's 120 hz. I don't think the overall experience is that great compared to an older phone with similar chipset. The 5G uses the SD 6 gen 1 as well. I think it's the software after a bit of gaming and the phone feels hot. It lags and the UI is slow to exit a game and navigate around.
I find on the moto g styles 2023. It is best to have the back camera in the first one & plus into the back as well.If you where to switch them around it will still play but the video will be at a standstill.
I just can't with these cheap moto's anymore! & they are not always all that cheap, still 100 plus, The last one I tried recently was the stylus and one thing that moto does on these lower end models that really annoys me is that they disable the ability for google assistant to work when the screen is off like for emergencies to say hey google call so and so on speaker phone, You must unlock the phone first on these lower end models anyway that feature is a must for me now, & I wonder why/who disables it on certain models?? anyhoo long story short I was wanting to switch from my iPhone 12 mini I've used for the last few years & snagged an Galaxy S20 brand new on ebay for just under $250 & for being an older device it still runs circles around all these new moto's. The stylus lagged too much too. I think older flagships you can get discounted are much better than these IMHO. You do have some cool vids though.
I would agree. Maybe the other Moto phones are decent but first time trying a Moto 5G 2023 stylus after years. Moto doesn't fix issues with their budget phones and have unpredictable software updates. Benchmarks show that my Moto phone still has similar scores to a Samsung S8 which was released 2017. I only tried the Moto as a second phone because I got it for $80. The Moto experience is worse than my Chinese phone, Redmi 10c. The Redmi is a year older with an older SD. That's the reason Moto is in third place with sales half of the major brands.

The Moto G play is the better phone all around as good as the g stylus is I've would say if you don't care for the stylus definitely the Moto g play 2024 is the winner🏆

Yes the qcy were better

This one is 90 hz but I think the 5g is 120hz

They are running Android 14 now
I own both of them and they are good phones. Set the Dolby Atmos to movie sound and be amazed.
