Praise God For The Glorious Gospel Of Christ! Redeemed In Christ Alone!
Eph. 1 ; 3 - 7 , Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ , Who has Blessed us with All spiritual Blessings in Heavenly places , according as He has Chosen Us in Him Before the foundation of the World , that We should be Holy and Without Blame before Him in love , 5 having Predestinated Us unto the Adoption of Sons by Jesus Christ to Himself according to the good Pleasure of His will. What this is saying is your salvation has had nothing to do with you , or indeed any Good God foresaw in you that contributed to your salvation , it is and was All from the loving heart of Almighty God the Father who before the world was made or indeed before time began choose for Himself a people , gave them to Jesus Christ to die for and pay the penalty All of their sins , and to be His portion , you were then called into the Kingdom at your allotted time but you were already saved before time began . In other words salvation is all of God from beginning to end , it is He who changes you , and even gives you the gift of faith and a new heart whereby you can live the life required , and on death of the body be brought into the Everlasting Kingdom of love and happiness with all of the Saints to live forever with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ . Hallelujah , can't wait !.

Great point of studying the "attributes" of Gd. As an elementary Catholic School student during the 50's, the first book of the blue Baltimore Cathechism, we HAD to memorize the attributeS of the Triune God via the Sisters of Charity and Jesuit priests. The very first question and answer we had to memorize was Who is Gd?" etc, etc, etc. And here I am, since my mid twenties, totally by the grace and mercy of Gd, born again and Calvinistic reformed without infant baptism... and there are two generations following me that have only known the Gospel and Church via the conservative born again church. We love and serve a merciful God and daily "look up." NM
Never heard of the conservative Born Again Church ?, what denomination is that belong to ? . Calvinism I know very well and agree with , I am an ex Romanist , and also a Biblical Born again Christian for 36 yrs now , which has been the happiest time of my life, Cheers and God Bless !.

@@happyforever1528 hi...the Lord allowed me to go thru Catholic school years of Catechism....to be used to step through doors and speak. Here in Albuq there are many Catholics at the senior centers and when they start talking about their catholic church beliefs and private practices and prayers...it opens doors. The majority went to public school and have NEVER had catechism, just street and pulpit skimming/knowledge of their mangled doctrinal beliefs... which are pretty skewed. It's easy to begin "that's NOT the authorized version of the church's doctrine's and teachings"....which helps to lead into the salvation message of repentance, mercy and grace without works and without kneeling to idols and saints for their helps... AND the need to leave the Catholic Church.
Skip Heitzig, here at Calvary Church years ago, used to have priests teach "Bible" classes in the large foyer on an evening during the week. No, the priest was a priest still saying mass at their church. My girlfriend and I would sometimes visit other churches to do our own "what?" investigative rounds...to see and hear with out own eyes/ears the different Bible studies and etc. There were many Bible believing churches here using paul yonggi cho and watchman nee and various TV TBN teacher's teaching. There are many Sunday school adult teachings and handouts out there, that do NOT follow the Word of God, but skews it. 2 cor 11.15 ...satan also has his ministers that can be transformed into "ministers of righteousness." ...as in standing in pulpits and Sunday school classes in churches and tv, etc. preaching/teaching from the ....?👵 be well in the Lord.

In modern Christian theology (penal) substitutionary attornment, the fullest expression of Jesus’ death on the cross, has become a litmus test of belief. If you don’t believe in PSA than you are not saved nor a Christian, as so many have said dividing the body of Christ unnecessarily. The problem is that PSA actually stands against the real reason Jesus went to the cross, as Passover lamb. PSA is a subtle attack on the idea of Passover and what it represents. Unfortunately, many believe PSA to be true and then see substitution in the Passover when it is not there. Substitution says Jesus died in your place and Passover says he died on your behalf. These are contradictory and both cannot be true.
The highest and first understanding of Jesus’ death should be Passover. With the Passover story there was no sacrifice or offering to God. The lamb was not killed to appease God or turn away his wrath in any form. The lamb was not killed in the Israelites place because it was never God’s intention to kill them. God’s intention was to make a spectacle of the Egyptian Gods and pass judgement on those gods and the people who aligned with them. He was not judging his people nor did he have any intention in killing them. But he needed to protect them during the reign of death. The lamb was killed on their behalf, not in their place, so that the blood could be used as a marker of protection and allegiance to God and a rejection of the Egyptian Gods, through faith.
Just as the lamb in Passover was a marker of protection during judgment so is Jesu’s blood a marker of allegiance and protection for those who believe.
Just as the lamb needed to be eaten fully so to must we die fully to be raised to new life. Jesus did not die in anyone’s place to appease an angry god. He died on our behalf so that we could die with him and be raised to new life in him. But so many Christians are stuck in sin because they are taught the subtle deceptions of the devil that Jesus died in your place and there is nothing you need to do. Whereas the apostle teach Jesus died on your behalf and you need to die daily with him. I am convinced that PSA has been a 1000-year long deception by Satan to keep Christians in sin and powerless by minimizing the real reason Jesus died - as Passover lamb. With Jesus’s death, unlike the Passover lamb, we rose from the dead and through his resurrection we have life. With PSA salvation and life come through his death and that is all you need. But as Paul says if there is no resurrection of the dead then you are still in your sins. PSA says your sins were dealt with fully at the cross. Passover makes the following statement true - Jesus’ death is necessary for salvation but it is not sufficient for salvation. With PSA all you need is his death the resurrection is not needed and that is why PSA is a subtle heresy that so many have made dogma and a litmus test.
Payment for sin is not forgiveness. God doesn't need to use violence to solve our sin and violence problem.
Then why did Jesus die on the cross? Why was His prayer to the Father in Gethsemane “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.””?

If God being the most just judge simply passes over sin he becomes unjust as it says in Proverbs anyone who justifies the wicked is a abomination. He cannot go against his own word. Therefore if we had a murderer and a rapist and the judge looked at the murderer and the rapist and said we have all the evidence against you but you know what I like you I'm just going to go ahead and let you go I'm going to pass over the murder and the rape everyone would stand to their feet and scream you are not a just judge then how can God being the most just of all judges simply Passover all of our sins against him?
The answer is he cannot so there has to be a payment made for that sin and Christ came to be that payment on our behalf. And without it no flesh will be saved stop looking at it in human terms and start looking at it from a Divine point of view. Forgot to be just and the justifier he has to both punish sin on the object who committed the sin which is man which is why Jesus became a man to pay for the sins of men...
you need to be careful what you say about what you don't understand when it comes to scripture because the Bible makes it very clear without a payment without atonement without bloodshed no sin can be forgiven it's written right in the very book of Genesis when Jesus slaughtered the lamb to cover Adam and Eve sinned no sin will be forgiven without the shedding of blood and if God goes against that He makes himself a liar and therefore he could not be God
