    It’s so refreshing to hear about morning routines from someone with a regular 9-to-5. Amy Landino is great, but she seems a bit out of touch with people who don’t work for themselves. Thanks!

    I started a 5 year journal this year! I don't always get to write things down with any substance but in 5 years when my kids are all in school and I'm home alone for the first time in 10 years it will be bittersweet to look back on the entries that just say yeah I don't even know what the heck happened today. 🤣

    So excited to start using Routinery today! That being said, I am giving myself grace because whenever my baby girl wakes up, the routine swerves! Motherhood has been a great challenge for my perfectionism :)

      Yay! So excited for you! The best part is you still get credit in your streak even if you only do one step

      Yesss. I schedule my morning routine to finish 30 minutes before I need to be done so I can have wiggle room!

    Of all the morning routine videos I’ve seen, I really like this one!!!! Have you thought of doing a vlog of your morning? Also your hair looks so good! Love the curls.

    Great video with lots of awesome tips. I am naturally an early riser and want to start waking up a bit earlier and be more intentional with my pre-work weekday time. Thanks 😊

    I loved this video so much. I’m guilty of trying to wake up early and do all the things, and then failing. I can’t wait to ease into it as you suggest. Thanks again for your excellent and positive advice.

    Thank you for this!!! Great timing, and amazing tips! I just downloaded the app, and can't wait to officially build my routine officially. I've gotten better since starting using the Makse planner this year, but always looking for ways to improve my routine and make sure I carve out time for things that are important to me personally. 💕

    I love that you said to include something that just makes us happy! I feel like we are all so rushed in the mornings and it makes for a hectic time! When we stop and do something for ourselves that makes us happy instead of just focusing on all of the things we need to get done before we rush out the door, it makes for a more pleasant morning experience! I think for me, I would love to wake up earlier but I always try to be more productive with that time and then I feel too tired! Instead I think tomorrow I'm going to wake up earlier, but not put anything else that I have to do in that timeframe. I'm just going to drink coffee and take the morning more slowly! Eventually I'd love to exercise in the mornings, but when I try to tell myself that I need to get up and exercise, I always just end up sleeping in!
    I really really loved this video, and you, so I'm subscribing to your channel! I'm also going to ring the bell and hit the like button to help support you, because you 100% deserve it! I'm so excited to be the newest member of your youtube family!

    These are great tips. Also since we are two weeks out from daylight savings time change consider slowly changing your time to when you want to wake up after time change.

    Breaking up with my snooze button has been one of the best changes I’ve made this year. I cut out all electronics in my bedroom and it’s made a huge improvement in my life.

    • @PlanwithLaken

      Oh that’s amazing! That’s my dream end state (I say I as I respond to this on my phone laying in my bed lol)

    I have been watching so many morning routine videos lately! I tried early last fall, but I had some time off around (Canadian) Thanksgiving and the trying to relax completely killed the routine.

  • @SarahR745

    If I’m not snoozing, I’m just spending an hour or more in my bed scrolling. 🙈 I might as well have just slept longer. 🙄

    • @PlanwithLaken
      @PlanwithLaken  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s ok, you’re building the habit of not snoozing! Start by giving yourself a timer of 45 minutes to scroll and then do something else for 15 minutes at the end.

    Do you have your hatch use sound to also wake you up or just light? Do you still use your phone in the other room as an alarm?

    • @PlanwithLaken
      @PlanwithLaken  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So, when I first got it, I kept using my phone because I was still getting off the snooze button. Now, I use it as my alarm too!

  • @keeperofsecrets88
    @keeperofsecrets88 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Phone in the other room wouldn't help me. I get up, pee, fill a water bottle for my mom, have her test her blood sugar & take her first medication of the day & STILL climb back into bed 5-6 days a week.

    I snooze for an hour every day and I cannot for the life of me break this habit 😩 I am so scared to put it far away from my bed because I’m scared I wont hear it!

    • @PlanwithLaken

      Can you get a Bluetooth speaker that maybe connects to your phone?

    • @StephPlansInTheOC
      @StephPlansInTheOC 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try looking into an alarm clock for the deaf and hard of hearing. They have different methods of waking you up, and snooze isn’t really an option!
