    WOW! Mapping really appeals to me. Was considering returning The Powersheets 2021 but with you showing your efficient mappings, non-cluttered lists, I am reconsidering keeping it and purchasing MakseLifePlanner and incorporating both, as you have. Thank you!!

      I will say this didn’t last the whole year, I couldn’t keep up with it. 🧡

    I love how you mapped your goals into the categories instead of writing a list. The visual diagram is so helpful to see the relationships within the categories. And that you did a larger overall map shows the connections between the categories and the goals listed in them. :)

    I know this is an old video, I loved seeing your process of figuring out your free time to dedicate to goal action items. I will absolutely be using that in 2021.

    I legit watched this twice and maybe a third bc this system is genius. I love your time blocking and the mirroring of the PS and the ML in planning your week. I cannot buy a new planner this year but next year I am doing PS and ML together. THANK YOU

    I love this new approach to your planning!! It's such a systematic approach that I haven't really seen before. With how busy you are, I can see mapping out your time like this being super effective for you. I'm very curious to see how it goes and what obstacles come up.
    I think this would be helpful for me at work, at least for my recurring monthly/weekly tasks and meetings. A lot of my work is ad hoc projects, but it'd be great to lay out how much time I legitimately have for those projects plus ensuring I have time to work on my professional goals. I know my biggest obstacle is procrastination.

    • @PlanwithLaken
      @PlanwithLaken  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! I think laying out those ad hoc things further in advance is what's helping me too, before I would just get to the week and see what monthly stuff I can fit in.

    I loved seeing how your using these both together. I'm going to try and make a weekly goals list/ to do list and incorporate that somehow in my ec life planner. That way I will have my power-sheets and then my EC life planner.

    This is so inspirational. I am new to goal setting - I bought my first Power Sheets this year. I sat down today and finalized my goals for the year following a similar process as you. I set some categories and then will do one goal per category per quarter. I was feeling like I wasn't going to be able to accomplish everything but I did a similar process as what you have laid out. I have a base template in my Google calendar and when I went through and saw how much time I actually do have to work towards my goals, I am even more fired up. Thank you!

      That’s so awesome! It’s amazing how much time we have when we really map it out!

    Looove this approach! I feel that every January is so energetic and enthusiastic with the goals and using new stuff that really helps to have a clear idea on what to accomplished. Although i need to confess I have only use 3 days of my planner this month, not proud :(
    Keep liking that Makse planner a lot, but still have not make myself to decide if I want to switch from mine.

    I love the colors in that planner. And, it's a great idea to be proactive for your month (and one I plan to steal... emulate).
    Question about your Away suitcases: now that they have been to the other side of the word twice, do you love them? I am on the fence about the fact that it has to lay flat when open, and for a carry-on, digging in for my liquids (It seems there isn't an accessible pocket from the outside because of the hard shell). Thanks!

    • @PlanwithLaken
      @PlanwithLaken  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I LOVE THEM. They hold so much!!!
      The lay flat can be a little frustrating in smaller hotel rooms, but truthfully I’ve only been really without space for the big one once. I have TSA pre so I do not have to worry about my liquids, could you put them in your other carry on purse/backpack?

      PlanwithLaken - precheck has been on my list too. Yeah, I can rethink where I put them. You know... stuff goes in certain places 😂 silly brains.

    I tried to use both but it doesn't work for me. Sticking with Powersheets, weekly ECLP, and daily EC petite for on the go. Glad you are happy with your system!

    I like this idea but when I see duplicating stuff from one planner to another, it seems redundant. Have you found a way to streamline so you're only using your planners for one reason? This has been my struggle with Powersheets so far- I WISH they would add an actual planner section to their book!

    • @PlanwithLaken

      I get that, but I also think rewriting it helps it stick in my brain!
