Awsome 👍👍
Thank you 😁
Hello...interesting drive...as always. The E roads are generally designated transeuropean artery roads that criss-cross Europe from west to east and north to south. From the Ural mountains to the west of Ireland and from Arctic Norway to the Mediterranean sea. of course the UK refuses to signpost routes passing through the UK! Yes, the Russian language was used throughout the Baltic countries during Soviet times but these days English is taught in schools. German is also an important language for trade and employment opportunities. Continue to drive with care. Jim
Thanks for watching 😁

Thanks, you too! 😁
Hi Sherralin great vlog again really enjoying this journey never get bored of your content looking forward to the finale stay safe and take care
Thank you. 😁
Heard you talking about Sat Nav going all over the place at Polish-Lithuanian border. Part of this is because Russia installed a GPS jammer in the Kaliningrad area (the small Russia part) Just to annoy Western people and aircrafts. (Luckily aircrafts have back up systems not dependable on GPS). Love your videos.
There’s lots of road works going on which confuse the GPS as it thinks you’re in the field next to the road! 😂😂😁
yet another brilliant video Sherralin, you have a good balance of guiding us "passengers" throughout your travels and when to let things run. I admit that I too tend to follow the map inside my head at times when unexpected diversions etc crop up, research beforehand and then follow my nose/head map so to speak and arrive safely .thank you for posting and your background work on editing etc. Happy travels and stay safe, looking forward to part 3....
Thanks for watching 😁
Hi Sherallin. Been looking forward to watching your second video. I remember seeing E numbered motorways here in the UK when we were in the EU. I'm assuming it didn't catch on here, as no E numbers were on any of the signage across the country, also, which is more than likely, the money put Councils and/or Highways companies off🤣. Have got lost plenty of times on the continent, and at night time, with no satnavs to boot. I'd just ask my trusty driver hubby to stop the car so I could read the map and see exactly where we were, usually after seeing a sign post for a town. For me, it was always part of my holiday. Loved getting lost, just to find my way to where I should be going. It was fun. I always loved map reading. The birth of the sat nav actually spoiled it for me. For me, the best thing for satnav is for when visiting a city, and it will get you out of the place. Part of the holiday😂. Coming across the broken down car, one of the things that we had to have with us when driving around Europe, especially France, was to carry a warning triangle (which personally I think is a really good idea), and if you're towing, ie, a caravan, then you would need two. Didn't see the car's triangle. As you say about the raised kerbs. Could do with them over here. Garages would have a field day🤣🤣. Your videos are never boring, and especially not this one. Take as long as you like. By making these videos, you are taking us along with you, and its great as well. See you next time😉
Thanks for watching 😁
Great Video, fascinating, all that road works, and then ì realised what was missing, CONES!!!!!
😂😂 They have board type cones, just not the same! 😂😂
Welcome to Estonia🥰🥰
Thank you 😁

I'm from London but I used to work for a family jewellers in burton on trent
Our yard is in Burton on Trent.
I’ve in Ross on Wye Herefordshire for about 30 years but I grew up in a small village in Worcestershire.
I can’t imagine living in somewhere as busy as London, Burton has too many people for me! 😂 Thanks for watching, hope you enjoy the channel.
@36:00 older people still know russian language from soviet time, but they are also bit rusty. Younger people dont speak russian, of course we understand and speak little pit but that is all. All three Baltic countris 🇪🇪🇱🇻🇱🇹 have their own languages! Sorry for my english😊
Very nice video again, tnx.
Thanks for watching.
All three countries people were very accommodating when it came to my complete lack of language skills, all very helpful & understanding. 😁
Yet' another brilliant video & so informative, & so close to Russia🥴🥺
Thank you. 😁
Wow Miss Ballard its nearly christmas again thats mad a year done again .
Hi sherralin enjoying this trip with you. Stopping to change country on taco is a right pain be safe . Billy west cork.
Thank you. Yes it is 😂😂
that blinker was waaay too soon at 45:35 british habit i see
A good British habit to use indicators and give warning, especially when another driver is following your directions. Thanks for watching. 😁
SCANIA yes I agree. Better quality and resale value. Same here in South Africa.
Part 3 soon I hope😊
Great 2 parter definitely not too long could you include a bit more outside footage of the truck and inside the truckstops where you park to see how they compare to UK ones also on a long trip how many Euros would a driver usually carry on themselves to spend on food, parking etc
We don’t carry cash, there’s no need these days. All gets paid on cards, less attractive to criminals and easily cancelled. Paid back into bank, usually within the hour, when we email receipts in. 😁
@GBtrucklady 👍 That's a good idea especially being reimbursed within the hour
wow I have been truck driver myself, greetings from Estonia :) Must be hard to get use to right side traffick
Hi, we 🇬🇧 drive on the left so right hand driving is normal for us. In Europe the only problems I’ve found are, it can be difficult to see around the vehicle in front when you want to overtake so you need more space and reversing onto bays or parking as these are designed for drivers on the left so again it can be difficult to see but most international drivers of all countries understand this as they have the same difficulties in UK and most will give you help.
You live in a beautiful country.
Thanks for watching 😁👍🏻
Thanks, Sherrelin, for another of your fantastic videos. You make it possible for us to visit countries that we cant visit. Love your British attitude when taking the wrong road; Keep Calm and Carry On. Has your son visited Tassie yet on his scouting trip?. Regards Sarah from Tasmania.
Thank you.
No not yet, still sorting the minefield of paperwork out. 😁
At the time had you considered that the lorries coming toward you might have found the route incorrect and they had all turned around to get back on track !
I did, then I just thought, if they can get turned so can I ! 😁
Wow that a distance
Keeps me out of trouble 😂😁
When I went to Lithuania it was late December 2023 and there was plenty of snow….! I went via Warsaw as delivered in Blonie,Poland, then went via Bialystok,Augustow as E67 was closed in a few places, then Marijampolè,Prienai,Aukśtadvaris,Trakai,it was at night and although I was in a van some of the roads Google Maps sent me were horrendous as the compacted snow/ice had become corrugated in a lot of places, thought my teeth were gonna fall out 😂Parked overnight in TIR Parking at Rasos,Vilnius, next morning on waking up we’d had about another 4” of snow but everyone goes about there business not like in the UK where everyone panics.Another cracking vlog and nice to see a few places I recognise.👍😄
Thanks for watching 😁
Thanks for part 2. I put up a comment on part 1 and it seems to have vanished. First time I saw these big sound walls was going through Swiss, which is a shame cause the scenery is fantastic.. Loads of unusual street structures in Melbourne and Sydney, sort of steel tunnel / not quite tunnel things with loads of groovy lighting at night... Ken has some good shots of them on his channel.
Goodness knows how TH-cam works sometimes 😂
Yes they are some interesting things. Thanks for watching. 😁
love your vids
Thank you
I very much enjoyed the video and seeing , from the armchair, the country I am unlikely to visit. Thank you. Video def. not too long!
Wondering how many days you were away on the trip, I am guessing 10?
Regards, Phil, Suffolk 🇬🇧
Glad you enjoyed it.
Not a bad guess, 12 in total but that did include a weekend break. 😁
36:10 Nope! Comon Language in Lithuania is lithuanian, since first baltic tribes settled there! Lithuanian language is a language of baltic branch from the Indoiranian language tree
P.S Beautiful job! Greetings from Latvia 🇱🇻
I enjoy my truck. And being on the road. I can go wherever I have customers or wherever I choose in South Africa. Currently I'm looking at a Scania or DAF. There are a few good low mileage used trucks for sale.
I would go for the Scania, better quality and better resale value. 😁
Welcome to my homeland
Thank you.
I never went further than Poland on my travels. Did you have to have toll boxes for Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia or did you have to buy vignettes at the respective borders.
Poland are in the process of setting up the toll stations to read the toll boxes, some have them others you need to scan your card.
Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia all have their own tolls that you pay by the day these can all be done online. Rates depend on the vehicle weight, emissions rating and the number of axles.

Latvia - www.lvvignette.eu/booking
Estonia- teetasu.ee/payment

Hi, this guy is not my colleague really, just another driver, from a different company. going the same direction who asked to follow me, not that I’d been there before! My lorry was alot slower than his, I wouldn’t have waited if I was him! Lol 😂
nice vid
Thank you 😁
Best vlogs brilliant. What do you think of the daf
Thank you.
I like a 4x2, the beds comfy, it’s got a good retarder and he paid extra for a great blind spot corner camera. 😁
Hi sharalyn have they given you your scania back yet , great vid
No the Scania is sold. Someone has got a good lorry. Keeping the DAF for now I think but you never know 😂😂
Hi Sheralin I just watched a video by a YTber ....Downielive... who did a 3 day ride along with Jono

FedEx and UPS are going to merge, will be called FedUp 😉😊

Did you do the hole trip at night 🤷🏻♂️
A lot of it. That’s just the way the job timing worked out. Very rare you’d get a job like this that would be 9 to 5. 😁
your old school lik m good map book and a compass in your had
Yep. 👍🏻
I had to drive to Paris to pay a fine and get the vehicle released in 1996.
I had to pause this video, something was squeaking, it was in your cab😂😂

No, you don’t move until it’s paid. 😁

Hello we have our own Lithuanian Language.
🫡🇱🇹
Hello, yes, the lady who lives next door to my me is Lithuanian. She watches my house while I’m away, a lovely lady and young family. I brought her a small fridge magnet of your flag when I was there, just to show her how much I appreciate her kindness, she was very pleased with it, it was nice to see how happy it made her. 😁
@GBtrucklady ❤️🤝
All the best for you 👌
I did a job from clement farrand to glasgow i followed aUPS driver at glasgow he went home and got out of his cab and said i live here why you at my house mate .

Lots of new roads in Poland and Lithuania but the old ones still have pot holes 😁
Nii et külastame mu kofumaad. See on väga lahke teist
Thanks for watching 😁
More daytime footage, less nightime footage would improve your videos no end,in my humble opinion 🤔....still enjoy your videos, though 😉
Unfortunately I can only record during the day if I’m working during the day but as you can tell, I was on nights for the first few days. You see the same as I do I’m afraid 🤷🏼♀️😁
@@GBtrucklady Fair enough, keep up the good work 👍
Thank you 😁
After all this time I understand why the Germans wanted this country, but those from these countries say they can't live there. They have a crazy way of life and they can't get back to Australia fast enough.
“The grass is always greener on the other side” so they say. 😁
2800k one way way lol ?
How do you get jobs like this ?
Yep, I work in miles it was 1778 miles, which, according to google, is 2861.4km one way. 😁
Łomża is more like Womzjuh with the z more like the S in deciSion
