That double trailer is called a megacamion here in Spain. Routes are prescribed/restricted and a lot of information must be passed to the D.G.T. before they can be used. Obviously the driver will also need a have a yet another class on their licence to drive these.
I wonder if it is the same as here in Denmark. 25,25 meters and 60 tons. Strangely, it does not require any extra education here. I do know there are trials with 30 meters and 90 ton, in the name of fuel saving and unofficial, the lack of drivers.
I really enjoyed this video and i loved the scenery in both Spain and France. I watched this after watching three of your video's while you are away in Aus.
Sherralin, thank you for sharing once more, always a delight to see what you are up to ..have a lovely time in Australia and New Zealand and stay safe 😊
Hi Sharralin really enjoy your ventures into Europe see some landscapes of different countries and different ways of life all interesting to me And all the precautions you have had to pick up Be safe out there Bob from Canada 🇨🇦
Love the A7 have driven it many atime going and returning from holidays in the Vera area, such stunning scenery. There is a Parador hotel in the castle at Lorca.
Thanks sherralin again for a great vlog .really look forward to them .enjoy your holiday .as i alway say enjoy life to the full as it is not a rehearsal .👏👏👏
@@GBtrucklady yes I walked from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela then on to Muxia & finished at Finisterre. Yes it's one hell of a long way. I did around 900km.
the castillo is an old Morrish fortress today it is a museum and a 'Parador ' hotel, love your video I live in this area and know where you have been, the cloud is called 'Anvil' Cloud keep up the great videos.
Hi Sherralin, Thanks for the Vid , You make that job look easy, but then again i take it is for you lol Have a good holiday you deserve a rest. All the Best xx.
As soon as I saw the sign for Pulpi, I assumed you'd be loading garlic. I've never liked stop/start for anything. As usual, lots of memories for me. Thanks.
Constant running is not necessary for most things, unless specifically asked for. It also puts the “running hours” up on the unit, which is a bit like the mileage on a vehicle, it helps to sell them if they have low hours/miles.
Hi Sherralin Great to hear your coming to NZ . I can't remember if you said you were going to Invercargill. If you do the Richardson Truck museum is really good. Always enjoy your vids. Cheers
The Richardson group are large transport operation in NZ . In cluding allied tprt farmers tprt Dynes tprt . Started by Bill Richardson many years ago . I guess not that big compared European Companies 😊
Great content as usual very interesting on the Spanish Road Train didn't know about them, you're a hive of info Lady would you like to have a wee drive in one😂hope you have a lovely holiday stay well give Aussie all the best regards from Scotland 🚛🏴🇬🇧🚜🚜🙏
Hi sherralin nice one as usual the four way flashers I think mite be the same old thing elf and safety when I was last driving lots company’s want you to put them on as you say if they can’t see you they want to go to specksavers keep safe regards bob
Your flog are very good never the same. Always different I am off to Spain 🇪🇸 in two weeks time for a through days holiday Vera love it there you must be on holiday soon
Thanks again for a really interesting video and the amazing scenery. " Castle of Lorca in Lorca, Murcia, Spain, is a fortress of medieval origin constructed between the 9th and 15th centuries. It consists of a series of defensive structures that, during the Middle Ages, made the town and the fortress an impregnable point in the southeast part of the Iberian Peninsula. " Thank you Google.🤣🤣 I bet you can't wait for the good weather and a nice bit of sunshine. If this is the last video before your trip, hope you have a safe journey. Really looking forward to seeing your holiday videos. 😎😎
Hazards on the boat are just insurance cover in case there is an accident and someone says they didn't see the 44ft long 14 ft high noisy wagon running slowly towards them 🤣
hazard lights on the ferry? My guess is that it distinguishes the vehicles that are moving from those that aren't. I used to drive a small van and it applied to me, too.
I have a few questions if you don’t mind me asking you could answer in your next video. Do lorry drivers get out and chat to each other at lorry parks or is it that everyone just keeps to themselves? I guess you have internet and you can watch uk tv. Have you ever stayed away and tagged a weeks holiday on a work trip? Do you ever take family in the truck?
Yes we talk to each other. Yes I have internet but don’t watch tv much. No it’s work, I’d rather go elsewhere on holiday. No not now. When I worked for myself sometimes my son or brother or Mum used to come with me. My son is now grown up with a family of his own and my brother and Mom have passed away, there’s no one else I would want to share such a small space with.
Why would you assume that? Drivers get allocated a bunk in a cabin, which means you could be sharing a cabin with 3 random strangers of the same sex of any nationality.
Road Trains in Spain, that is interesting. We actually call them B Doubles. A road train has 3 of more trailers. What's with the French, don't like yellow Semi's or are they just curious. Thanks for the Vlog.

Did you walk it all? It’s a long way. 😁👏🏻👏🏻

Yes, that’s one of the reasons I’m going there, it looks like an interesting place 😁
The Richardson group are large transport operation in NZ . In cluding allied tprt farmers tprt Dynes tprt . Started by Bill Richardson many years ago .

How many miles do you cover in a full day ?
Enjoy your holiday well earned 👍
Thank you 😁
the crates with the spinach when they are empty are they going back to Spain?
I think so. They fold down into themselves to almost flat, you’d get an awful lot on a trailer when they are empty. 😁
great vlog as usual hope you have a great time in new zealand...................
Thank you 😁

Old Gray & Adam’s used to a nightmare loading tomatoes from Southampton of the boat
Thanks for watching 😁

Always put my haz lights to let them no I need a plug or haz load ....enjoy ur hols
If that was the case I could understand it but Brittany make all lorries do it for some unknown reason 🤷🏼♀️
Great video as always just out of interest i assume you always get a cabin on your own?
Why would you assume that? Drivers get allocated a bunk in a cabin, which means you could be sharing a cabin with 3 random strangers of the same sex of any nationality.
Assume was probably the wrong word just wanted to know how it worked
Hazzards on used to always mean you wanted electric hookup.
Yep, now everyone has to put them on…..very strange 🤷🏼♀️😁

The French tend not to like anyone who’s not French!😂😂 Especially ones who don’t want to be in their gang anymore (Brexit) 😂😂😂
I use DFDS; P&O and Stena into the UK. They do not require 4 ways on boarding the boat. Must be a Brittany Ferries thing
Yep it seems to be but no idea why 🤷🏼♀️😁
one for me to watch later 👍
😁
Do you get paid when you have a 24h break when over the water
Yes, we are still at work.
Where are you going in new Zealand north island or south you may get a chance to drive a kenworth
South Island (I’ve been to North Island before) 😁
Hello Sweetheart, Good to see you again, Much love
Thanks for watching 😁
Do you speak fluent Spanish
No, just enough to get by. 😁
B double not road train
😂😂I did call it both but both are wrong. I’ve been told, as it’s Spanish it’s called Megacamion. 😁
Sherralin you be careful walking up hills and paths you don't no what idiats about
Will do 😁
To pronounce "Castillo" as an English person, it is easier to use phonetics, in this case "Cass til yo"
That’s what I said (ish) 😂😂
Stopped watching .sound is crap
Thanks for taking the time to comment 😁
