So what you were saying...the wee bike struggles up hills, down hills and on the bends...in other words it's ok on the straights...lol BUT wouldn't life be boring if each mile was super easy and non eventful 😊 ? That dream of a big powerful KTM again can wait.. enjoy your travels Take care..
how nostalgic 14:00 at right side is my university i studied 7 years ago 😅 fun fact: theres a lot of chinese indonesians live in semarang. there's a statue of famous chinese admiral zheng he of ming dynasty, he used to live there with his descendants.
Aah yes ...zip ties! The 21st century answer to bailing wire! Bailing wire is all that kept a few trucks and 2 of my motor ccyles on the road during ;the 60's ana 7o's! Have fun, stay safe and keep posting!
Thanks for getting back to the Moto vlogging. I love you guys and your moto adventures. Not so much the temples and their history. Just my opinion, not knocking that content. I understand you needed something to talk about while you were stuck waiting for your passports back, but so glad we are back to the moto content.
Ah, you just answered my last question on your first Borneo clip. Semarang to Borneo. You were 3 hours away from our little volcano village. Dang. Travel on!
First off, thank you for the shout out at th beginning! I am sorry that the bike isn't living up to your needs. Your motorcycle is your livelihood, carries all of your belongings and importantly transports you. My sincere wish is that you can dump Dorko and get wheels that are reliable and performs as you need it to. You deserve it! TC
Yikes, I had a bad wreck from that happening in my 20s, the spring broke unbeknownst to me, I went to take a hard left, and the kickstand swung down, hit and made me diagonally cartwheel through the trees. Be safe and have fun!! ~Paul
Hey Tim i thought you were going to zip tie that kick stand to the swing arm! NO NO NO! haha. Glad you have it all figured out. Great video. I always enjoy them
Thankfully, it looks like it is just a bend in the center stand and a loose hinge and spring on the kickstand! A broken frame would be awful 😣 but I don’t think that’s the case!
yes, cable ties or zip ties or insulock what ever.. never leave without it during long journey. for ur side stand maybe add an O ring on the centre bolt, so the side stand can move or stay firmly. btw, yes semarang was packed. its a capitol city of centre java province and also busy city port. hope u guys have a pleasant journey in island of kalimantan, instead said borneo.
Happy to hear you guys got your passports back and can continue the journey. That poor little Dorko. If it's not one thing, it's another with him. lol. Do you have any second thoughts about not bringing the KTM? I just imagine myself if your shoes amongst all those tiny bikes zipping around and what a different experience it would have been with the KTM.

Unique and scarry Dayak tribe ...who very populair in indonesian peoples ... Keep at good manners on them ...friendly and they Will more welcoming .. Just FYI about Dayak tribe .. Strong and powerful in magic (black or white) but friendly tribe depend our manner and attitude ... Well that is the unique one exploring Indonesia .. See "the other side" other colour about our huge communitty Indonesian peoples... More 18.000 island .... More 450 ethnic ..700 dialect.. Thousand cullinarry ..tradition culture event our myths... Keep showing good manners friendly ...great attitude Indonesian Will pay more... explore deeper ..you Will find the unique the something is new for you ...unexpected thing .. Save ride .. Save travel ...
Nice..Breakdown and low quality kf Chinese Bikes is a Pain In A.. Also this Bajaj has No.Mon.Shocks and seems low.hight. Also Oil Cooler.or.water cooler not visible.
That bike is sounding dangerous! I hope you fix those kickstand issues soon. How about just buying a new bike from a dealer? I don’t want to see you get hurt and ruin your trip. Just some biker grandfather advice.
Thank you 🙏. Sadly, we can’t purchase a motorcycle in our own name here in Indonesia, but hopefully the Bajaj will last a few more months and then we can upgrade it to something more reliable! Thanks for tuning in!

I think there is no better way to experience Asia's traffic authentically than on a worn-out cheesy cheapo bike, is there? 😵💫🤷♂🤗
😂

Great job on this as usual. Just a question. Could it be that the frame is broke?🤔🥴
Thankfully, it looks like it is just a bend in the center stand and a loose hinge and spring on the kickstand!
A broken frame would be awful 😣 but I don’t think that’s the case!
Never ignore a problem or unusual noise on a bike. Check it out immediately and you might save your but.
Indeed. We have been keeping our eyes and ears on it!
Great interview on Adventure Rider Radio! Was Jim suggesting you change your name to 2Up and Oversharing? Haha JK loved it! ❤

Why dont you change the bike?, it is unpleasant to hear your complain along the way
It is what we have and it is all a part of the adventure.
