The tower of adversity is similar to Kuro's other game, Punishing Grey Raven called phantom pain cage. where each character can only be used a certain amount for each stage per week.
I havent played pgr, so this is new to me. But that makes a lot of sense, thanks for the heads-up!
@@iamrivenous Most of the new features that aren't present in Genshin come from Punishing. There's also a weapon banner selector in there!
So it seems like everything you do levels up something to give you rewards, which is actually great. Rewarding you for taking part in every aspect of the game, from exploring to crafting. Also pretty glad that stamina is tied to something that progresses the longer you play instead of requiring you to find collectibles.

tbh i was very hesitant to play this game given that only one of my devices has the storage but it is the least capable of the three. but u said “…equivalent of Elysian Realm” and now you gave me the right nudge to go through with playing. god, i’m such a sucker for these things.

Just ordered a Rog Ally 1tb to play this game semi optimized and other future titles and past titles I want to check out.
Besides the echo system this game seems so good. I do hope after a few patches or so the devs do more than just slapping a Band-Aid on it though.

I honestly really like WW’s aesthetic and character models a lot more than Genshin. I’ll be playing both and I hope WW does well so it forces Genshin to get better. The players get a win-win.

How does the World Refreshing system work?
I remember in one of your *newer* videos, you mention something about refreshing your world after farming it? Does it get refreshed via Waveplates or something else? And why would one want to refresh their world? Sorry if my answer is confusing or if I'm confused by the whole open-world idea. This is going to be my first time playing a game like this and I'm curious if there are a finite amount of resources throughout the world. If so, then wouldn't it be optimal to just go to a friend's world to take their resources instead of refreshing your world (if refreshing is even possible.)?
I would appreciate any help!

@@bitboss1385 Wuthering waves is MUCH closer to genshin than genshin was to BOTW , WW literally uses the same UI and interface than hoyo. It look the same yet less polished thus at home

Thanks for the video. Just a little feedback. One thing I always find extremely unhelpful in guide videos is when a feature is compared to something similar in another game (e.g. Genshin Impact). I don’t play that game, so the comparisons are only confusing.

It's a mixed bag. Just as you said it isnt helpful, there are comments which say it is very helpful. I try to keep comparisons down to when it doesn't matter. The takeaway is, Verina is VERY good, why exactly that is the case is not the point of the video nor does it matter in that case.
However, it is a difficult matter and it is something I have to think about going forward how exactly I will handle that. Again, thanks for the feedback!

Some of the things, like the pufferfish game, have me concerned about the overall production quality of the game, but as long as the combat is good, I'm playing the fuck out of this. I can't wait for the 22nd
Honestly, most of the puzzles and minigames have been quite fun for me, I was somewhat even mad there have been so less of them lol
It's clearly a game where they centered completely in the combat. The OW, puzzles and such are almost an after thought. Sadly the combat seems to be also quite lacking, guess we'll have to wait and see where they go with the post release patches.
@@grtt3431 What ? the combat is incredible, and the graphics and puzzle are also well made and definitly high quality, there are a lot of care in the game with unique environement and combat oriented puzzle such as mini boss elite who can one shot you or secondary quest where you will have to save a city.
