    Ipad air 5 (the one I recently got for this past semester) is really the best option for students who take notes and dabble in art and other creative apps. I haven't noticed any kind of lag with procreate or other apps and it is less expensive than the pros. Definitely recommend for college/high school students!!! Having pro motion is definitely not worth 200 bucks (if we're comparing the 256 models). If you're ok with 128GB however, the Pro M1 is a better deal, that is if you can find it

    i’m considering going fully digital next school year because it’s so much more handy, but i think i’m going to pick the pro 11 solely for the “perfect” size to take notes in class and do my school work from home, the hospital, outside etc
    originally i thought the newer and bigger the better, but the pro 11 inch really is the best option here for me because it replaces a folder and actually gives you the feeling like you have a piece of paper (judging from the size ofc) laying in front of you

And I'll use them for most likely for writing or drawing. I'm going to use them for about 8 or 10 years so it's important for me. which one should I get in this circumstances?? And the bigger screen really affecting the experience that much?? I'll be carry this ipad everyday so bigger screen can make it tiring in my opinion.

    As a med student (not in the US) many people get the Air and the 11” Pro and the ones I’ve seen with the 12.9” always struggle bc many times we have classes standing or we don’t have a table (anatomy lab for example, there’s one table with the corpse and like 6 people around it trying to take pictures and there was this one girl extending her arm with the huge iPad in one hand😭) and since it’s heavy it gets tiring to hold, also for classes with microscopes like histo or pathology people often take pictures directly with their iPads and it’s hard to focus on the light point with such a big device. Lastly for those that are going to rotations in hospitals it’s rare to find tables to study and you’re often on your feet getting paged so I’ve heard that ipad minis are good for that bc it fits in some big pockets of your scrubs, not necessary and would probably be a 2nd ipad but definitely helpful.

      I’ve been an iPad user for over 7 years and I’ve always purchased the regular iPad, mostly because of the price. I don’t make a lot of money and this has been the doable option. However, I’ve always had storage issues because of the limits of my device. I decided this past year to take a risk and I turned my walk-in closet into a mini recording studio because I am a singer/songwriter/ vocal arranger and needed a place to sequester and get my music done in my own home. Which leads me to my question: which is best for professional musicians? I ended up purchasing the 11” iPad Pro but I haven’t taken it out of the box yet! I’ve been vacillating between it and the iPad Air…I will be using the device for recording vocals, creating instrumentation and sequencing as well as for music notation. I have all the other necessities: midi keyboard, interface, Rhodes microphone, etc. My biggest worry is that I’m musical but not technical in any way, and so I need all the help I can get to learn that aspect of the process. I was seduced by the M2 factor of the Pros, but the price is pretty scary and without technical know-how I worry that I’m not going to get all I can out of such a powerful machine due to my lack of knowledge. I am curious what you and other people think would be the best device for my situation. Should I stick with what I bought or exchange for one of the others, like the iPad Air, which is a little cheaper but may still have the speed and function I need. Thanks for your response.

    I just bought the iPad Pro 12.9” 256gb and the Apple Pencil 2nd gen, i’m upgrading from my iPad Pro 9th gen and 1st Apple Pencil ✏️. I ended up spending about $1300. I’m a professional illustrator/artist and animator and I have been using that particular iPad for almost a decade and I knew it was time for an upgrade I was fine with a smaller screen for years, but as time went on, I realize the benefits of a larger screen and larger canvas sizes plus more power in general with something that I need, for the longevity of my art business and art career. So I took a big jump 😅 to the M2 and I can’t wait. And thanks for your video. It helped my decision be more clear and I’m glad that I purchased a 12.9 inch.

    Super happy with my 256gb WiFi 11" M1 Pro. Even happier that I snagged it for $670, $320 below MSRP before it was replaced by the M2. Once you're in the Pro range, it's worth asking yourself if you really need the extra power of the M2. Unless you're cutting video every day on your iPad or need Pencil Hover, you're probably better off saving several hundred dollars and getting the M1. If you really DO need that extra power and you intend on buying a Magic Keyboard, stop for a moment and consider an M2 MacBook Air. Dollar per dollar, the MacBook is better in every way except for one: no Pencil support.

    I watch videos like this after purchasing a gadget. I got my ipad mini 6 and so far i am loving it. I just use it for downloading things i’d be studying, it is so handy and this is the best size i am looking for. I’ve been to many stores just to get the mini this 2023 but sadly 64 gb was the only thing available but i grabbed and and i just delete whenever i am done with a certain topic.

    Thank you for this review! I have an iPad mini 5 and want to update to a larger screen without having to buy a new pencil, so the 10th gen iPad actually seems kinda perfect in a weird way. Plus the colors are super cute! I appreciate how your review allows for personal interpretation bc I saw sooooo many videos that automatically said the 10th gen iPad isn't worth purchasing just off the pen situation.

      Honestly, I was in the same situation as you : needed a new iPad, didn't want to buy a new pencil (especially since my 1st gen pencil was still working well), so I bought the iPad 10th in October, I am not disappointed.
      For my use of it (mostly note-taking, writing, and internet) it's perfect, the cable needed to charge and pair the pencil is not even an issue for me. I like the size and it was a great change from the iPad pro 9.7 I've been using for a couple of years. I don't find it slow, the battery life is okay. So good purchase in my opinion.

    honestly, instead of getting the ipad 10th gen, i'd recommend getting an ipad air 4th generation. you can get it for around the same price (probably cheaper if you buy refurbished), and it's nearly identical to the ipad air 5th gen (besides a slightly slower processor, which is still the same as the ipad 10).

    I have been wishing apple would make the iPad Air or regular iPad in a 12.9 inch version for such a long time. I use my 12.9 iPad Pro 2020 for school and note taking and the screen size is a must for me. But it feels like such a waste of the pro power to only use it for note taking, not to mention the ridiculous amount I spent on it.
    So yeah, once apple makes the 12.9 in non pro version I will be over the moon. Plus, being able to choose a color besides grey or dark grey would be great haha.

      Can i buy ipad Pro 12.9 2020 model this year coz it's already late ..... Or should I go with the latest one..... I actually only needed it for note taking and reading books ..... And also M2 chip is so expensive....

    • @esthelacarvajal4530
      @esthelacarvajal4530 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely agree ! I bought the pro 12.9 because my 9 felt too small. I’m a science major and find myself using split screen often. It’s more convenient to carry a smaller screen around, but the bigger screen makes a great replacement for my computer on a day-to-day basis.

    • @Julia_Unofficial
      @Julia_Unofficial 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But then the iPad air becomes the iPad pro (esp the iPad air 5) and apple clearly doesn't want that. Unless they would come out with an even bigger iPad pro I don't see why they would make a 12.9 inch version of any tablet.

    I've had them all (just got a 12.9" Pro today) and they've all played the same role for me. At this point it just came to the fact that I spend like 16 hours a day on my laptop and iPad and the ProMotion makes the writing experience notably smoother. The larger size simulates the size of the notebooks I buy a lot better. And then the screen just can't be beat. I never consumed much content on my iPad until now. The screen is better than my MacBook Air
