Amen I'm watching the movie Prince of Egypt the animated one. Can you explain to me why did the Lord kill innocent children and Egypt or was it just specific ones that he knew that these kids are not good. I do understand the story of Egypt and pharaoh and Moses. And I know the Lord put plagues on Egypt because Pharaoh wouldn't listen because he was stubborn and evil and wicked. I just don't like when people say the Lord is a mean God that he's not loving but they don't know the one and only true God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior through his holy spirit and I'm so grateful that he gives his grace his Mercy his patience his forgiveness upon us every day for the ones that truly put their faith within his son Jesus Christ our Savior and for the ones that don't believe too but you never know for the ones that don't believe might come to Faith tomorrow and next week the next month or the next year. And I know the Lord has many ways to get through people I learned a lot through my suffering with Lee stage Lyme disease and even though I'm still suffering today and what it did to my body I'm always grateful when I talk to the Lord and pray to him and I'll say thank you for my suffering because if it wasn't through my suffering I wouldn't learn the things I would have learned through the things he's been putting me through. And I wouldn't have probably a relationship with him because it's very true different kinds of suffering brings us to the Lord and it doesn't mean that when people go through suffering that the Lord hates us he's putting us through suffering because he loves us so much that we can be with him one day and change us the change the renewing of our minds to open our spiritual eyes to spiritual ears from the wickedness of evil of sin demonic spirits and the devil.

Ask biblical Archaeologists, it has already been so well proven, that in American colleges, it is used as a history book, due to it being so accurate.
For instance, the city of On, only mentioned in the bible, no other book in the world had its name. Archaeologists followed its coordinate given in the bible, dug, and x marks the spot it was found.
The greatest Atheist of our current age, Dr. Prof. Bart Ehrman, readily stated in his debate with
      Dr. Prof. James white:
"The bible is the most attested book we have in antiquity!"
"One thing we can know for sure from history is that Jesus lived, died on the cross! As verified by the historians who lived in Jesus' time, Josephus, and Tacitus, and from the hosts of witnesses and intersect the data, only an uneducated silly fool could conclude without evidence anything to the contrary."
That's from a Professor, Dr. Bart Ehrman, Athiest.
So, when one meets a fool talking like a toddler, tease em and go. Nothing to see there...Next?

    • @The-Mstr-Pook
      @The-Mstr-Pook 3 ปีที่แล้ว

He didn't actually harden the heart, God allowed it to become hardened. Take today 2020 as an example. There are absolutely provable facts, yet people with a contradictary emotional philosophy will refuse to except facts when clearly presented to them.
What usually occurs? They harden their hearts to the truth, become hateful and persecute or try to silence the truth teller.
So Pharaoh, once the immediate consequences of each plague had passed, grew wrathful at God Almighty, and refused to be coerced by God's mighty hand.
Thereby hardening his heart to be in opposition to God.

Very great lesson, however, if I may, I God killed Pharaohs son because that was the plague that Pharaoh chose, recall, God told Moses, whatever evil the pharaoh says will be the plague that God would use. Pharaoh stated the 1st born shall die, so God killed pharaoh's 1st born, and all those whom wouldn't trust in the Passover, their 1st born were also killed. This was stated by the pharaoh, God got personal with him even taking the words out of his mouth to make him eat his own words, with pain and loss, God judged him pharaoh, whom also said that he himself was a god, too...

Because im pretty sure its true. Adam and eve didnt actually happen its an allegory, story with a meaning or lesson. The great flood never happened, even jesus early years was made up years later to fit proficies of a messiah. He had to born in bethelham to link him to king david. The bible claims all had to return to place of birth for a census, this census never happened as described, its just not true. I dont think the bible is meant to be taken literally its more symbolic but clearly man written (very clever men) with many mistakes if you try to see it as fact

Where are the Hebrews affected with this plague as well? and if so how many or all of them?😇

No. To showcase how the Lord was their God, it didn't touch them.

    • @The-Mstr-Pook
      @The-Mstr-Pook 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Actually the Hebrews were affected by by the first three plagues, in fact one has to remember that the faithful family of Abraham had died, and their families had gone native in culture. Same way you can be African American, or British instead of English. They hade become Egyptian Hebrews.
So God Almighty had to prove to these Genetic Hebrews, that he was the True God, so they would become his people in Faith as well as lineage.
Ex:8:23 is where God makes a distinction between his people and the Egyptians. So the death of Livestock was first plague not to affect Hebrews.
Ex:9:18 + 20 With the 7th plague of Hail, God made further distinction, so that now Believing Egyptians could be spared the disaster.
If they then attached themselves to the Hebrews they would be spared.
So this is the scripture order of occurrence as written.
1: God plagued all Egypt to prove his power and act as a warning, and set himself up in opposition to Egypt God's.
2: in Mercy of his people who now begin to exercise faith, he spares them from the next 7 plagues as long as they keep following the instructions from Moses.
3: God makes a way out for now faithful Egyptians.
4: The Final Blow, death of Firstborn. This does not effect any Hebrews or the Egyptians who take shelter in Hebrew homes under the lambs blood.
5: a great nation now leaves Egypt of 3million people. Made of the Hebrews and a vast mixed company of Egyptians and slaves who attached themselves to the Hebrews and wanted to worship the True God Jehovah.

If a family was peacefully walking and was assaulted by an armed attacker, and the Husband defends his family and kills the attacker.
Would his family praise him, or call him a murderer?
God's power is always used in Love (God is love) and balanced out by his justice, Mercy and Wisdom.
The Ten plagues were another salvo in a war between God and Satan. He literally proved himself Almighty and the only True God. Exposing the demonic God's worshipped by the Egyptians.
Also God lovingly wanted to release his people from Slavery, and any others who would join them.
      This obviously would create opposition.
Come on, the USA had a war over the same issue.
Being the Creator, God has the absolute right to discard his creation that has become irreparably damaged and unredeemable.
But because of free will, to kill without warning or chance of Mercy would be unloving and abhorrent to God.
So he gives us a choice.
      Obey and live.
      Resist and die.
As life is a superlative gift, but death is what we deserve being imperfect fallen creation. We should choose life, and be immensely grateful to the God of Mercy.
Pharaoh never Doubted God's power, but he refused to accept God's authority over him. So became as rebellious, and by making the choice himself, his death was his own doing. Completely avoidable.
People can also put greater faith in God's ability to protect his family and fulfill his promises, because of his name. JEHOVAH in Hebrew YHWH (YaHoVa) is a verb that means. I will make Happen.
Recent discoveries of ancient manuscripts held in Jewish antiquities has the Tetragrammation (4 letters of God's name) now with the correct Vowels present.
It was believed YaHWeH (Yaveh) was correct, but it is now proved that YaHoWaH is correct way to say God's name in Hebrew. The W being pronounced as V in both instances.

You're coming from a rationalist point of view, that is not correct, because each and ever plague was a miraculous work of
God, nothing of it was a simple circumstance that was the unintended effect of the other. This is where your faith is being put to the test, can, could and did God intentionally make all the plagues come about? Did God really answer Elijah by fire? to both the answer is yes, realize that miracles for God is like breathing for us. He never holds back the opportunity to work among us, to be within our midst, and to be known within our midst. So, Whistle Blower, you just need to believe that God did what the scriptures say that He did, as I do, now granted, God has spoken to me, so I know him closer than you, and more sure than you do, for by reason of His voice, I have no doubt whatsoever, that He can do anything, when there was a dead woman on the street, and I stopped my car and laid hands on her, I felt virtue go into my right arm, and leave me from my right hand out of my fingers, and the person came back to life that very moment. So, just trust me that God is all powerful, and doesn't need to set in motion a circumstance that set in motion a series of strange happenings, but believe that God did each and every miracle individually, just as HE intended to, not as a matter of consequential circumstance as the result of another condition.
