I feel like if the bible isn't real and some guy just wrote it, it was probably for the best. If there was no bible and no religion what would stop people from carelessly killing everyone and doing other harmful things. The main reason many people don't commit certain crimes is because they are scared of going to hell for it.
The bible is not meant to be taken literally. It's more of a guide on how to live your life. Maybe the bible was actually just a book filled with rules and some guy made it more interesting to read, for kids for example. Why i beleive the bible has true writings instead of the quaran is due to the mere fact that the bible took some 1500 years to be written, some of these men did not even know the other, the bible also, has some 2500 prophesies. Roughly 2000 have already been fulfilled, including the birth and death of Jesus(the messiah). The quaran was written by one man and took 23 years to be written. Also, There’s so many versions of the Bible we use NOW and they have differences on some texts and passages and they are interpreted different and maybe fits more for a certain denomination, that’s just shows humans tend to change things when rewriting or translating the Bible, there is evidence, they have found ancient tablets of the same biblical book and they both have small and some big differences, there’s no way to know which one is the real one because the originals were lost thousands of years ago. There's tons of video on this on TH-cam. But the answer may disappoint you. The authors were probably not ill intended - but it's a "story" not history. Jesus was probably a wise person - but not god nor the son of god. No miracles, no resurrection.

The Catholic Church wrote the Holy Bible. It’s a collection of scrolls written over many years. The Bible is basically a library in a book designed for the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church can tell you who, what where and why? Real history, about the monk’s responsible.
Mark, Luke, Peter, John etc. Are just pen names. Who even are they? Mark the son of who? Luke the father of who? These are just pen names for the many authors that wrote the bible including Saul of Tarsus who was a roman soldier who executed the early followers of Jesus. Saul then was apparently nominated as an apostle for the Christians and wrote many books which are part of the bible. Saul never met Jesus, by the way. Imagine Hitler, after slaying all those Jews was on his way to Berlin and was apparently nominated as an apostle to the Jews and wrote 20 books that the Jews ought to follow. Do you think that the Jews would have followed him? No. So do you think that the followers of Jesus would have followed Paul/Saul? No.

Many sects of Jews and Gentiles - also did not believe in life after death. Consequently, it was greatly comforting to hear that "Jesus Christ" had overcome death and retained his body. Too much human thought, life was not possible without a body. Therefore, life after death could only mean the resurrection of the body.
It also kept Jesus' name constantly alive in the minds of people. Jesus was the "historic figure" who had valiantly died to ensure that men should be freed of all fear of hell and damnation. Providing they believed in "Jesus", they could walk as "freed men".

, Mark, luke and John were definitely not written by them, these orinal books were written around 100 years after Jesus and were written in Greek not even Hebrew or Aramaic and had no author , later the when translated to Latin the Catholic Church put the names of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John, scholars don’t know why they did this they think maybe for “authenticity?”. Also, There’s so many versions of the Bible we use NOW and they have differences on some texts and passages and they are interpreted different and maybe fits more for a certain denomination, that’s just shows humans tend to change things when rewriting or translating the Bible, there is evidence, they have found ancient tablets of the same biblical book and they both have small and some big differences, there’s no way to know which one is the real one because the originals were lost thousands of years ago.
I believe in God and Jesus but the truth is that no one knows 100% with facts what exactly the original books said and words passages have been changed. Stop thinking the people that don’t believe in your denomination it’s going to hell. That’s a very limited thinking
