One of the sketchbooks I use to collage onto is an upcycled baby board book. Drew Steinbrecher was the inspiration for this neat idea!
Drew has an excellent free tutorial over on his website with great tips on how he uses the baby board books.

Hi Julia, a combo of ink and acrylic paint. I love Indigo, bright aqua green, gold and marine blue.

Oh thanks! Glad it was helpful to watch. Sketchbooks are so important to my practice! Often the best work happens in them as I’m not precious about them. I have photographed some pages and made prints in the past as they have that spontaneous feel which is sometimes hard to recreate on an expensive substrate for me 🤔

I’m so sorry Jennie, I thought they went on automatically. I will check the settings today. I’m only talking in the first part of the video, the second part I decided not to as sometimes it’s difficult to get into a natural flow of creation when I’m talking to the camera 😀
