Good video. I have used just such a call while still hunting for deer. It helped to mask small noises I made while walking because turkeys often scratch and make noises while they travel. I used mostly the purring sound . Not as a lure but as a masking sound to calm deer in earshot of something around.
I hunted like a clumsy fool on til 5 years ago when I started studying the deer to figure them out. Now I hunt way too many days if my wife is at all accurate. Now I let so many deer go by in order to take it all in. I would love to have a job teaching people how to track stalk scout glass field dress etc etc. thanks for watching.

I was low to the ground and blended in very well. It was probably curious. I did not seem to pose a threat as most humans do.
