Best video on breaking down a deer I've ever seen. I will probably never fabricate flat iron steaks but I think I may be able to trim out the tri-tip roasts now. Laying it all out on the table totally cracks the code for me. I commented on the first video to do this with a whitetail and you guys didn't disappoint. Seth is a surgeon with that 6" Victorinox. Trimming silver skin without doing the fish skinning method isn't as easy as he makes it look. If I can be so bold as to make another request, let's see another hunting trip. Keep up the good work, gentleman.
I've been breaking down my own deer for 5 years now, and being completely self taught, I haven't ever seen a more thorough, informative, and complete deer butchering video. Thank you guys so much!! What an asset to have for future seasons!!! You guys are awesome!!
Seth and Scott, In my 45 years of hunting I've never seen a deer processed by professionals like yourselves, WOW! I now feel like I have done it all wrong over the years, lol. That was impressive to say the least!!! Thank you for such an Amazing viewer experience. "DEER FEAST"👍👍 What an art form!!! God Bless you brothers 🙏 Jay.
Food is food and it tastes better when you outwitted a deer and brought it down yourself. Personally I see no issue with hunting just follow proper gun safety and don’t be a dick (drunken shenanigans led to the deer carcass beer incident which I got told about still funny years later).
Be patient with them. Hunting was never enjoyable with my dad when he was seemingly angry because I struggled to gut my first deer or I struggled to be quiet or not fidgety. Getting spoken to like I was dumb was a deterrent.
It's always amazing to see the similarities but especially the differences in the way you guys break down an animal and how it's done here in Germany. I really like your videos because they are educational and always super professional👍
I've never hunted. I'm nearly 65. I had a "deer steak" cooked over a campfire as a teen. I also vaguely recall a venison stew my mother made from a hindquarter or something. Then, someone gave us some venison sausage. I'm pretty sure there was more pork than Venison there. Anyway, I'm always fascinated by these guys and their ability to break these down so quickly. Experts for sure. And although I'm sure I'll never take my own deer, I kind of regret not being able to fully appreciate what it, literally, brings to the table. Deer feast.
I never had to do this in my life, but it is mighty fascinating to look at how precise you guys perform this, plus you wear a mesh around your beard. Very impressive, one can take much joy out of just watching someone perform a craftsmanship instead of watching those greedy influencers and fake content channels!
really appreciate the professional attitude these guys always show- no hype, no BS just a great education for all the viewers, one of my favorite subs.....
I have never been a "hunter".. my dad taught me the skill of the hunt from turkey to Deer, and I posse his passion. However, the die hard suit up and get you some, skipped me and has landed into my son, and I watch you guys, to help him have a better experience than I did with the taste. I had it once, disliked from jump street, now I understand why. It was in the processing. So thanks, guys, for showing the right way to get the wang/yuck taste out of deer that I experienced. (No wasn't dad's, I just wouldn't eat his because of it) he is gone and left me to teach, so thanks again...
Deer Feast! Dudes this video was incredible, and I can't thank you enough. I've been processing my big game for over a decade now, and this has helped me save time, and grow my overall yield. Again... thanks. Cheers boys.
I just love watching you all,I used to work with my dad in Alaska,he was a hunting guide, and you guys yield is much better then what we could ever do,thank you so much for all your knowlage 🙂🙂
Deer Feast Thanks for the professional video. I doubt many non-hunters are watching, but they need to see classy and polite people. Thanks for representing us well.
My old man was a butcher for 61 years. He used to say he started cutting in grade school. Your videos remind me of a simpler time in life, he used to take me to work with him up until I was about 14 or 15. I lost interest in it. But I still paid attention as we’re a hunting family. I wish I had of taken the trade, instead of going the carpentry route. God dam it I miss ya Dad❤
I can't thank you enough for your wild game videos. I harvested my first buck recently, and there i was, Bambi's Dad hanging from my deer hoist, me knife in one hand, your videos on my cell in the other. I wish you were located in Canada! Lol
Thank you so much for doing this video. I haven't been to deer camp in many years, but I wish I would have had this back then instead of learning from someone who just hacked everything into 3 piles: stew, jerky, and sausage. Deer feast, indeed!
Guys, I love it! But I really want to see what happens on the trim table. I've thought this from the beef vid, the hog video, the lamb video. I would honestly love to see a video of the trim table for any or all of them. I thank you for the education.
God bless you and y’all’s family always thank you for giving us your wisdom I am watching your videos from Aledo, Texas 30 minutes west of Fort Worth, Texas
Been watching your videos for a few years… started doing my own processing last year due to your content and diy kits… thanks for the info and products… keep ‘em coming!
Thank you, this helps so much. We recovered a fresh roadkill deer this year, and did our best to quarter it without knowing much what we were doing - learned a lot. This helped salvage a lot more for our freezer from our learner deer.
Knife skills are so impressive , learn something from these guys every time I watch them, for the regular sportsman to have these guys as an asset to learn from is a blessing
I started processing my own deer because I wanted to make sure I got MY deer back. I won't go into anymore detail on that but, I do enjoy my "Deer Feast." Thanks guys, for another great video.
Awesome presentation as always. I can hunt right from my back porch, lol. You guys make it look so much easier than I know it is. I hope I can have myself a DEER FEAST too when my shoulders are better.
Deer Feast - harvested an axis doe this past weekend and watched this video before breaking it down. Thanks for taking me along with your process. Now to get me a quality boning knife.
Hey guys… your videos are great and thank you for putting them out! I would like to see a detailed video on how to do the finish trimming the ribs and flank sections I’m always confused when it comes to what fat is good or not. And I’ve been butchering my deer myself for two years now with the help of you guys and I always have a mental struggle when it comes to that area . as you know, there’s many layers of fat and meat
"Deer Feast" Absolutely love your videos! I have watched so many of them multiple times and always seem to pick up a tip or portion that I didn't catch the first times. You guys are awesome and do a great job presenting!!!!
Thank you... i will be rewatching this many times before i get to go out and hunt my first deer... didnt get the pleasure of learning this while growing up should be a fun and interesting adventure 👍
Go figure. Getting ready to begin processing my son's elk tomorrow, and I'm back here watching your videos again! Great videos for inspiration. Thanks!
My typical yield on a doe is 28- 33lbs. Granted the deer around my area are smaller than Ohio deer, but my trim/grind pile looks nothing like y'alls. I tend to remove much more fat, silver, connective tissue, and fascia. Enjoyed the video! Thanks for the content.
I live in Hawaii, All we get to harvest is feral pig, a feral goat an occasional wild bull. I have never and probably will never butcher my catch as good as you guys. But I learn with each one of your videos. Oh, I am the king at cutting yellow fin tuna AHI. Aloha Guy's, happy holidays to you and your awesome families🤙🏼🤙🏼
Great video for a beginner like myself, got my first and only deer last year and wish I had seen this first. Now for this year i will surely have a "deer feast"
I appreciate you guys so much! Thank you for all this work you put in for people. I love and use your seasonings regularly in my house, for hot dogs, brisket, etc.
Love the videos! They have been incredibly helpful. One thing that would be helpful to me, would be to see what you keep and discard when doing your trimmings. Ammount of sinew, silverskin, fat, trauma area, etc.... that you consider acceptable. Even if just a short video. I'm a first generation hunter so most of what I learn is through watching videos like these and I find myself if fear of ruining my grindings by keeping something I shouldnt!
Good Night Bearded Butchers. It's so Fascinating that you're having a great 😂. Another puzzle is being Solved Right Before our Eyes. 🎉Congratulations Guys on Another Classic video. I am learning so 😂by just watching 👀 your Videos. I am so excited that you 🎉🎉Guys Surely have a good Sence of Humor ❤👏🏿🇨🇦💯🥃
Great job Guys. Only you guys can pull this off. I Truly Appreciate your Videos and Always looking Forward for a new one. Thank again Bearded Butchers. Because there's no other like you 🎉Guys. Congratulations once again for being the best on the internet. BAR NONE. ❤👏🏿🇨🇦💯🥃
DEER FEAST. Brings back kitchen table memories. I think it might be worth mentioning this can be done without the saw but we wrestle with the whole carcass since I never really got the knack of cutting thru the vertebrae joints with a knife. so our remaining piece was rib cage, plus backbone plus hip bone (and tail). perhaps cutting/breaking a vertebrae could to be a tip on a coming video (dont recall it in past videos that i seen).
Deer feast!! Thanks for the video. I have always processed my own deer. I have often wondered if I was getting too picky on my trim pile, which I definitely was! I am going to have a much better yield after this!! Thanks !
Deer Feast! As always a GREAT Video. I have been processing my own Deer since I was 15(I am now 65). Gun season is in full swing here in N. Minn. and while I take my deer apart a little differantly ( I do not have a walk in cooler) I do not disagree with how you did it! Keep up the great work!
I'm neither a huntress nor someone who's had hardly any venison in my life but you gentleman make me want to drastically change that! I think I've probably missed my shot at age fifty, but in my next life, I'm gonna enjoy deer at least once a week! lol
You can still get out there and hunt! If you were in Missouri, I’d take you myself. I’m a 37 year old female who didn’t hunt until I was 30 years old. I’m positive you could do it!
Deer Feast! Watched every second. I originally discovered your channel a number of years ago when I stumbled on your first deer breakdown in the cabin (which was excellent!) This video is so much more detailed and gives me lots of tips on how to improve my deer butchery. Well done. Love your guys' videos.
You guys are amazing thank you so much I have never done my own deer always let someone else do it. But have done my first did leve alot because I didn't know what could be used for burger. Watching this has helped so much. Can't wait to do the next one. Thanks for a great video.
Absolutely flawless video. I've been awol for a bit due to health issues but you men havn't missed a beat.Your content seems more refined and Seth looks more fit if that's possible.Thank you for an excellent video. Nobody does it like The Bearded Butchers!
Great you show how to do this !!! It is a lost art there for people !!! Some of the Folks out there just don't know how to do this !!! I never really worked on a Deer hanging for 7 days it was always within the first few days of hunting I was the one to do the butchering in the group Grandpa sharpen the knifes and did the milking for me and kept me going in other things !!!
Deer feast. Fantastic breakdown video, thank you. I have to admit that some of that fancy work you guys do on the front legs is interesting, however we're a big deer burger family so most of that stuff just goes to burger. But I've always wanted to get more out of the hind quarters and try out different cuts. This video will definitely help with that.
Two questions 1) do you discard the trimmed dry layer of meat or grind? 2) how do you get the carcass so clean before hanging? Been following you guys for a few years now. Love your videos. Always learn something new. Congrats on a growing business
Thank you guys so much for sharing this video 📹! And I love 😍 learning! And may you and your family continue to be Blessed! And thank you guys are so Awesome ❤❤❤❤
Deer Feast!! Keep up the awesome content. Because of you guys I have learned to process everything on my own. I think that is the only reason my wife lets me hunt 😉
Outstanding video !! Cut up my 1st 2 whitetails this past season. Always had em processed til now. Watched your other videos in real time as I worked. 2nd deer took Half the time of the 1st one. Thanks for all you do guys !! Will definitely order the Brock Lesnar blend. 🍻.
Deer feast great video you are so right about proper game handling. I've seen some real hack jobs. Love your videos keep making them please. We do all our own processing it's nice to have a guide to help.

Memories of doing this with my dad. My kids ABHOR hunting. They 'don't see the point'...so I am looking for new kids.
😅😅😅
Funny…

It really got in my blood going with my grandpa. Sorry to hear that.🙁
It's always amazing to see the similarities but especially the differences in the way you guys break down an animal and how it's done here in Germany.
I really like your videos because they are educational and always super professional👍
We appreciate that, thanks for watching!
What’s the difference? Recommend any videos of the German processing method?

The way he cut the shank was pro. Just did two and had to watch the video over a few times to figure out exactly where to cut. Keep the videos coming!
This channel has quickly become my go-to for anything meat related or for wild game processing. Really high quality content and explanations.
Deer feast! Another great breakdown video. I learned to process my deer from y'all and wanted to just refresh my memory and found this.
Thanks guys!
I started processing my own deer because I wanted to make sure I got MY deer back. I won't go into anymore detail on that but, I do enjoy my "Deer Feast." Thanks guys, for another great video.

Deer feast. I learned a lot...again. Thanks guys from a dutch guy living in Portugal.
Go figure. Getting ready to begin processing my son's elk tomorrow, and I'm back here watching your videos again! Great videos for inspiration. Thanks!
New hunter here. I'm learning lots from you two on how to get more out my harvests. Looking forward to my Deer Feast!
Love this channel. Yall are becoming the same interest and satisfying as the hoof GP.
Thank you so much! This diagram breakdown helps so much visually. Love this! 😊
Our pleasure!

Could you all do a ‘deer trim’ video? Teaching what’s waste and what to keep an how you clean rib meat and belly and what not..
Great video for a beginner like myself, got my first and only deer last year and wish I had seen this first. Now for this year i will surely have a "deer feast"
One of the if not best breakdown of venison. Thank you!
I appreciate you guys so much! Thank you for all this work you put in for people. I love and use your seasonings regularly in my house, for hot dogs, brisket, etc.
Beautiful work son.the flat irons were cool too.dang that some good eaten.stew me too!!!
I’m a Senior and I watched the whole thing. I love venison but I don’t hunt ! Great job !!
Very informative. I have watched lots of videos and read books that tell you to remove the glands but not tell you where they are. Thank.
Amazing skills and presentation guys best of the best
I love it when my large chain grocery (S & S) store sells a pot roast cut of meat as flank steak!!! Well done on your part!!
Deer Feast.....I enjoyed this layout the most. It'll be more useful to the average Joe hunters like me! I appreciate it!
After watching this video, I'm even more excited for hunting season to come! Great video!

Superb job gentlemen. You all did a fantastic job explaining everything to this old buck.
Thanks 👍
Well done gents! Very thorough and well explained. I tend to discard more as for example the rib meat. Cheers!
Excellent video! I've been processing my own deer for years and still learn a lot from watching you guys!
Great to hear! Thanks!

It is awesome to watch you all do this. You make it look so easy. I’m hungry now

You have some of the best videos ever...Thank you for your knowledge...sending love from Nevada.
amazing video! That knife work is so smooth -- almost hypnotizing to watch in a way. Thanks again for another great video!
Well done gentleman, watching your videos is always a pleasure, keep up the good work from down under. Regards Michael
Absolutely flawless video. I've been awol for a bit due to health issues but you men havn't missed a beat.Your content seems more refined and Seth looks more fit if that's possible.Thank you for an excellent video. Nobody does it like The Bearded Butchers!
Every time i watch your knife skills, i just laugh at myself. Very impressive. Wish i was half as fast as you.
Deer Feast. I want to see Seth’s elk hunt and that process done always a quality good watch guys
seeing a bear and elk cut guide would be a nice addition to the Diagram series
The round tip turns out awesome in the smoker too! Great video!
Another great video gentlemen. It does indeed look like you've got quite the deer feast available after all that work.
Thanks!
Deer Feast! Awesome work gentlemen...truly impressive and gives me some goals to achieve...
Thanks...
watching a master at his craft is an amazing thing.....well done bro!!
Thank you very much!
Absolutely fantastic video. Thank you for all the incredible knowledge. Good luck in the woods, this season and beyond!
Hey Yo.. Whatz buzzin' cuzzin' 🤠💯🤩😁👌🎣🐟😝
Two questions 1) do you discard the trimmed dry layer of meat or grind? 2) how do you get the carcass so clean before hanging? Been following you guys for a few years now. Love your videos. Always learn something new. Congrats on a growing business
Just got my two deer last evening this will help. Thanks
Thank you for an informative look, as to the ways you process your deer. Deer feast.
Thank you guys so much for sharing this video 📹! And I love 😍 learning! And may you and your family continue to be Blessed! And thank you guys are so Awesome ❤❤❤❤
Same to you! Thank you very much.
Perfect timing on this video. I just happen to have a small buck hanging that I took 2 days ago.
Deer Feast!! Keep up the awesome content. Because of you guys I have learned to process everything on my own. I think that is the only reason my wife lets me hunt 😉
Fantastic video guys! Best I have ever seen on breaking down a deer! Good luck out in the woods and be safe!
Thank you so much, take care!
Really good video. I wish I could see it kind of reassembled showing exactly where those glands are after the muscle groups are broken down.
Awesome instructional video as usual guys. Thanks for taking the time to share. Dear feast!😁
that is awesome great video will surely save this one thanks for the breakdown of that great job
Deer feast great video you are so right about proper game handling. I've seen some real hack jobs. Love your videos keep making them please. We do all our own processing it's nice to have a guide to help.

Loved the video, guys! You guys are awesome and so helpful!
