🪷 Translation
🌺 Nārāyaṇa is mantra.
Sing paeans of Nārāyaṇa.
It is the means to reach a Supreme state of being (= Paramatma) by eschewing/steering clear of emotional bondages (~in this worldly existence).
🍃 There is no need to exert/strain yourself to retain your breath.
Nor is there any need to injure/sacrifice other living beings to perform yajnas. (~as an offering to the Gods).
It’s simply enough to bethink of Madhava or Madhusudana. (~chanting in the mind)
(In Hatha Yoga, Kevala Kumbhaka is a technique where inhalation and exhalation can be suspended at will thereby enabling a state of 'samadhi' (union with divine). But Prahlada says, there’s an easier way - the Nārāyaṇa Mantra, which is Bhakti Yoga.)
🍃 Nārāyaṇa is our mother, and our father.
Nārāyaṇa is our Guru, and our knowledge.
Nārāyaṇa is Yoga, and Yajna.
Nārāyaṇa is the Release (~from the bondage of mundane life), and is the Giver.
🍃 He who takes away afflictions and impediments to spiritual progress, that Hari - is the consort of Mahalakshmi (Srinath) and the Master of the Universe (Jagannath).
