Anyone else notice the audio got haunted for half a minute from @1:39 ?
I think even if you pass the flip check, the final step in wipeout is your opponent gets to rotate your vehicle. gaslands.com/forums/topic/wipeout-clarification/
Muy bien explicado, tuve que buscar un tutorial en inglés que lo explicará bien 😅👍🏻
My understanding of wipepout step is you make a flip check:
If you fail:
- take 2 damage
- move medium straight
- opponent rotates your vehicle
- go to gear 1
- remove all hazards
if you roll your gear or higher:
- go to gear one
- opponent gets to rotate you still? (this one i'm unsure if it happens here)
- remove all hazards
Yes, they still get to rotate you whether you make the wipeout check or not. Sometimes when you are doing these tutorials you forget some of the simplest things.
Great videos! ...but the reverb in the narration needs to be fixed.
If I explode by the 2 damages then I do the wreck move instead right?
What happens when you have a Spin and/or Slide that alters the facing of the car before the wipeout if you fail the flip check? Do you move a medium from the new facing direction? If so someone in second gear could move a medium, slide+spin to face the reverse direction, wipeout, fail the flip check, and move a medium back to almost where they started but facing the opposite direction. Is this intended?
Logik Stix we play with a logical momentum kind of rule. In your example, he'd flip in the direction he originally started the manuveur
