This time we take a look at a very elusive piece of lost media known as "Everyone Knows That", this was was originally posted on a corner of the Internet years ago and for a while these 18 seconds were unidentified, until today that is. Since he does a HORRIBLE job of actually wrapping up the details: the song’s called “Ulterior Motives” and was made by Christopher Saint Booth and Philip Adrian Booth. It appears in the 1986 adult film Angels of Passion.

Here is a MYSTERY: A song that plays in “The Office “ in the scene where Andy is skating- called “ All Night” by Joy Charity - I have looked everywhere and there is no copy of that song anywhere except in the office episode. Even the singer’s TH-cam channel doesn’t feature that song. It’s a very groovy song ( from what I hear in the few seconds of that episode) but no one can find the full song anywhere. As if it’s been scrubbed from the face of the earth.

Just like Ulterior Motives, that's a stock song. Music that's actually been released to the public costs money to play on TV, so whenever a TV show needs a song, they get one from something called a stock library. Stock libraries have literally thousands of songs, videos, and sound effects trapped inside them, just waiting for a movie or TV show to need them. Sweet Victory from SpongeBob, The Night Begins To Shine from Teen Titans Go, and The Touch from Transformers were all stock songs that would have stayed trapped in those libraries forever if they hadn't been dug out for their respective cartoons. Ulterior Motives is, of course, also a stock song.

The best part is the audio analysis on carl92's clip. The longest clip of uninterrupted audio is the 17 seconds he uploaded. On top of that, the range of frequencies and quality matches exactly with that from a certain site.
He was not dumping just a dvd or experimenting with audio recording. He torrented the full film, wanted the original song, used video editing to crop the longest uninterrupted clip, lied to cover his tracks, and left the scene when his tastes were at risk. He had the full movie the whole time.
If he told the truth about anything, I believe that he has a folder of other mp3 files, which are definitely from other films. This was not a one time case for him.
Edit: it was also 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 30 minutes in. Carl watched everything up to that point for the song.

I can attest to that. The audio he uploaded does not have any moaning in the movie. He cropped that exact part of the movie, converted it to audio and trolled the whole web. Ultimate chad move, that.
Apparently people had been trying to post the porn angle on the subreddit for months and the mods kept deleting them without allowing it to be explored.
No wonder it took that long for it to be found
Reddit does go hand in hand with censorship.
It had to do with the fact a lot of people involved in the search were kids and they didn't want to be responsible for kids watching thousands of hours of porn looking for the song. They went NSFW after the song was found, and it immediately became apparent how many kids were in the subreddit the way some of them were talking about how they feel like they're doing something bad because of the NSFW tags and how they're scared of the source link and want someone to post the clean audio.

That makes sense, every site is full of pearl-clutchers these days. Like the word that starts with "wed" and ends with "gie," could not be any _less_ of a swear word; and yet it is one of those words that when typed will cause TH-cam to delete you post in seconds.
Its important to note that most of the discord servers dedicated to the EKT search banned people from discussing NSFW leads. Many people from the Lostwave community were not happy about this since many Lostwave songs have been discovered in this way. Pretty ironic

In fairness to Carl92 and claims that he is a coomer, his original audio clip didn't have the noises from the movie that I could hear. So perhaps he actually found it from a clean source.

The song Ulterior Motives, "everyone knows that song" was lost media that the originator for was so secretive about and gave such little contextual information regarding everyone kinda started thinking it was fake, he made it, or there was a reason for him not being fully informative.

Based on the date of the file (1999) and Carl92's username, I like to think he was a 7-year-old boy who stole one of his father's private videos when he recorded the audio. A child would be more captivated by the music in the movie rather than the "bedtime wrestling." But whether Carl found this as an adult or a child, it's great that someone found it.
yeah no, the whole dvd backup is a lie by carl. if you listen to the full song and skip to the 17 second section, everything’s the same. the static, clicking, “chip eating sound” etc. carl was mid gooning session, went “hold on a second this song’s pretty good” and took the 17 seconds of audio without the background noise and made up lies. it’s pretty funny though.

The difference between Ulterior Motives and Like the Wind is only a snippet of UM was uploaded online (intentionally or not I don't know), while the full version 2 minute 55 version of Like the Wind has always been on the web. So it is not a lost song, but is of an unknown artist.

I'm in a similar conundrum. I've been looking for two pieces of music that were used in 1978 in a 2-XL toy robot program. Been trying to find it for over 45 years. All of the music for 2-XL was licensed library music like KPM, Bruton, Parry, or Warner-Chappel.
I hate that I lost a Russian synth song. Music video is a cartoon of a spaceman in his ship dreaming of home and I think there’s a horse dream sequence. At least 10 years it was saved on my TH-cam but lost it annoyingly

On the subject of lost media. There was a underground band that I saw back in the day that went by the name Atomic Alive. Some songs were covers. Other songs, I don't know. I think they might be original, but they might also be covers of other bands that are also lost.
I was searching for all their recorded stuff and discovered that they had previously gone by the name Ember.
There is only 1 audio recording of 'Sometimes' by Ember. Which can be found on the TH-cam channel TapRat.
I don't know if the song is a cover or original, but it's a really good song.
