When you pair it with people putting up cash rewards for it, people will be more enticed to use AI to make fake mock ups so give it a few months and the search will become actually impossible
It makes it harder but not impossible. In data science there is this term called noise, it is referred when you have recordings of things that seemingly appear to be subjects of interest on the surface but they are usually easily determined as worthless data. It'd be ironic if a piece of lost media couldn't be found because there were so many fakes that it was impossible to tell what was real anymore. The real one could be sitting right out in the open fully visible to the public and people could be none the wiser. Not sure what it'd take to get to that point, but it's a cool thought.
@@gaarakabuto1 Yeah exactly, and like the metadata doesn't lie either. The metadata for all of those images will be so recent, it's so easy to cut out of the search. Surprised he's just learning about the lost media wiki. Unless by "recently" he means some time shortly after he got invested in finding the original jtk image.
You know another piece of lost media - the ORIGINAL Linkin Park/Jay Z 99 Problems Mashup. It's crazy, because it was SO popular back in the day, to the point where it influenced the actual artists to team up & release a full collab album & official version of that song. But the original that spread across the internet? Can't find it anywhere.
Are you saying there was some fanmade mashup version before the artists collabed???? Are you sure this isn't a mandela effect (as in, you have poor memory and completely made it up to feel important?)
@@Death_MTL_Dudehe is saying there was a fan made version that inspired the official version. I find it unlikely as it was MTV who had hired Jay-Z and he was asked to select a collaborator for their new TV series Collision Course. Jay - Z had chosen the extremely popular band Linkin Park at the time with whom he was a big fan of. When it turned out so extraordinarily well they scrapped the series because they knew they couldn’t top the JZLP collab. Linkin Park had always been known for an early adoption to using Online as a pathway to gaining a fan base (starting even in the late 90s with their Hybrid Soldier fan subscriptions that had quickly changed to Linkin Park Underground) it’s possible they had known something but they were not the ones who had the idea of this project. Jay - Z up to this point had probably very little use of the Internet and had “people for that”. In the year 2003, 2004 the Internet wasn’t used by everyone to the degree it is now, you did not even have many good video streaming services and most music was shared through P2P the odds of him finding this is entirely unlikely. The only other potential source would be that Viacom / MTV executives / Producers had stumbled across this “lost media” as an inspiration of selecting JZ, but there are literal documents (LP notorious for vlogging a lot of footage around this time in their career) conflicting that very idea, as again JZ himself was said to have selected them for collaboration. MTV / Viacom isn’t the most trustworthy source when it comes to “controlling the narrative” and could have easily manipulated the whole situation in making it seem like he selected them.
I actually have a Linkin Park JayZ DVD of their concert. It was an improv bday gift I got So I remember the song. Did you mean the live song or was there a studio version?
3:56 but also that picture that people are sending you has seemed to take a life of its own giving a backstory to this woman that nobody really knows. So that picture now has its own strange history which is very odd
One of the possibilities we have to take into account is that the JTK image might just be the original image. Somebody could have taken a picture of a friend or themselves and then heavily photoshopped it before posting it to 4chan. The raw unedited photo itself may not exist at all in any public space.
Holy sht. It didn't hit me until you brought up the Sonoko lead. To me JTK 1 has always looked like someone tried to superimpose the StayPuff Marshmallow Man's face from the original Ghostbusters movie onto some poor girls face. I mean, sure the original GB's was released in the mid 80s but it was still super popular well into the late 90s. If people were bullying this Sonoko girl for being fat it's not out of the realm of possibility that someone tried to make her look like a giant Marshmallow person that destroys buildings. I don't have the time or expertise to know how someone would go about separating these two images but I hope this helps.

The pastor roast is even funnier than the idea of 4chan photoshopping that photo 😂
When Muta finds the source of that image, I'll be able to hear him screaming with joy all the way from my house.
Surprised he's just learning about the lost media wiki. Unless by "recently" he means some time shortly after he got invested in finding the original jtk image.
22:28 "FLASHBANG!!!" 🤣 Thanks for everything, Muta!
….that song was on the Collision Course EP. what are you on about lmao
It was an improv bday gift I got
So I remember the song.
Did you mean the live song or was there a studio version?
9:03 "musta been a strong rope" is inSANE 😭
12 year old joke
Day 1 of asking for the return of the SOG outro
Top of the morning to ya gamers! My name is Muta and today we'll be...

Ahhhhh the Haunted Gaming creepypasta readings, good times.
But they're not up on the Channel anymore sadly...
Koge Donbo is not a name I ever expected to hear in a Jeff the Killer video.
I love all the NEW information in this video, it definitely isn't stuff I already knew...
That self flashbang at 22:28 had me laughing
The Sonoko bag edit is just wonderful.
5:39 for some reason i thought you were about to say "TO SHOW YOU THE POWER OF FLEX TAPE"
Imagine if it was just a drawing and not a edited image and we waisted years of searching
Bro i was literally watching the jtk video you have made and this dropped rn
3:56 but also that picture that people are sending you has seemed to take a life of its own giving a backstory to this woman that nobody really knows. So that picture now has its own strange history which is very odd
Un-creeps your pasta 🍝
NOOO
I have that meme saved to my phone XD
One of the possibilities we have to take into account is that the JTK image might just be the original image. Somebody could have taken a picture of a friend or themselves and then heavily photoshopped it before posting it to 4chan. The raw unedited photo itself may not exist at all in any public space.
Maybe jeff the killer is the friends we made along the way
The room isnt gonna stay the same for 20 years straight
22:27 light mode claims lives
The search has gone on for such a long time that it was enough for someone to make a whole Rewrite of the creepypasta this year.
“This image *right here* that I’m sending you?
DONT SEND THIS!”
Muta why you know what you did
Stop sending this image! I already have it!
At this point we have the face the fact that this is just an actual picture of Jeff the killer.
9:08 had me weak, I’m sorry.😭
What’s funny is I saw a picture that had 5 “originals” but I noted it wasn’t, then there’s a video
you don't wanna find the original jeff the killer image ... or he will jeff the kill you ...
This would make a great TwoSentenceHorror
Original title:
"Stop sending me this fake JTK image"
18:45 i hate to be that guy but if it was a cold case, it wouldn't be active. i would consider this an on-going investigation.
9:08 THAT IS WILD 😭🙏
7:38 - When you hit a blunt so supersonic mid recording, you come back with a nasty cough
stop sending that image
You heard 'em.
Sorry I'm deaf. Off to send Muta fake Jeff the killer images through 72 separate gmail accounts
