cheers for up loading this. I am a subscriber to the Mark Kermode channel here, and they don't list all reviews. I have listened to a couple of your uploads now, just a pity the end keeps being cut off before the review has finished! but thank you for uploading it anyway :)
It would've been better if one of the male characters were bisexual and had to deal with competing with his annoying partner for a woman's love, while harboring secret feelings for him after years of working side by side. Would've made for better drama and comedy too, had they been smart.
Mark Kermode is asolutely right when he says that the actors in it all look like they're only there for the money. There are a couple of laughs, but Chris Pine and Tom Hardy are both one-dimensional and deliver their lines like they're reading off script for the first time. Reese Witherspoon tries her best with what she has, but through most of the film looks like she'd rather be making something else. We don't see or feel any of the characters click with each other, we're always told that they do.
@hanshotfirst1138 "Kirk vs. Picard". Funny observation, although I only got it 'cos I watched them Red Letter Media reviews. Not personally into that universe.
The film has terrific acting, however the film’s poorly directed, poorly written, unfocused, not funny & is A ripoff from Lethal Weapon (1987). (26%) (1.5/5 stars) (negative)

The laugh at 1:54... how can so much mirth be squeezed into such a brief chuckle?
Simon's "Oh Good" at 2:43 just made me actually LOL. Bloody terrible movie.
A mere knighthood for Mark Kerdmode? The man deserves to be dishing out knighthoods!
Mark is a republican so he would not accept it.
"We have Chris Pine, who was perfectly fine..."
And Reese Witherspoon, over whom both men swoon
Ummm.... Am I the only one noticing that this review was cut off before it was finished? Min 4:58: "I have to say, there's a..." BAM. End of video.

I thought the 2 male leads have more chemistry with each other than with Reese Witherspoon
Reese never has chemistry with anyone.
Him and Bale too. Kind of reminds me of what Mark said about Turturo and Malkovich's parts in Transformers 3.
Mc GEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
I agree 100%. If all the characters had been taken out in a nuclear strike, i would not have cared a bit.
I love a good Dr rant!

What does he say at 3:29?
“We have Reese Witherspoon who, despite your problems with her forehead, is great”
Apparently Simon doesn’t like Reese’s forehead
@@alisaurus4224 lmaooo!
Both Hardy and Bale will be looking to purge their consciences.
That's Hollywood for you.
Nothing wrong with being honest.
This film was so bad that after 25 minutes I turned over to watch Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
I kinds liked it, had a few laughs
I take it he didn't like it then? :')
I liked it, didn't expect too much beforehand though. Nice date-movie, forgettable but entertaining.
i think this is a truly terrible movie. my mates loved it and i honestly thought they where stupid
Yep, the second worst film I saw in 2012 bested only by the hideous abortion that is Strippers vs. Werewolves.
It was one of the worst pieces of shit i've ever EVER seen....its terribly pointless...i became dumber watching it. It just exists
