      I got to mix those titles up. They were getting blah. And thanks... i just hate painting and fixing walls. So much space to paint in this house.

    I have a Vcyclenut ECU FLASH on my 08 air box mod and full exhaust and my temps cut on at 205 instead of the stock 215 witch is way to hot 🥵 but I’d definitely take a Supercharger or a turbo on the bike 🏍️ Totally dope Keep the Fz1 alive!

      Yeah once the bike is around 200° you really feel it around your legs huh. I hate it but it is what it is. Have your tried using engine ice to get your bike to run cooler? It definitely works. I was able to drop 10-15° while cruising.

    I'm curious. Does doing this not shorten the life of the engine? Are these engines just that good that they are fine? Or is it just a sacrifice you make for such insane performance?
    Love the work you're doing my man. You should sell stickers or a t-shirt or something. To help fund parts and stuff for this build.

    • @rhetericalpha
      @rhetericalpha  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You're not wrong on life of the engine but that is just most performance mods in general. If you raise the HP it is working the engine more than the manufacturer intended but in this case the power is only there when you want it and the engine is loaded hard. The higher the rpm the more boost and more power. So if you are just cruising around like normal than the engine isn't stressed and its regular riding.
      You know i did think about shirts but I felt the channel wasn't big enough for that. I'm a good designer... so I think. I could come up with something. Already owe a viewer a shirt anyways

    Would something like that work on a two-stroke moped I have 95 Tomos lx Targa I know it would have to be a little bit different I know it has been done would work but just asking maybe somebody has a better way of doing this another issue why notices sometimes those get too loud those supercharger turbos that might be a problem riding it on the street and I'm also thinking about turning liquid water cold kit and bigger Pistons and twin carburetor and also I don't know how Eco it would make the gas cuz it's kind of good on gas right now also trying to make it so I can use less gas asking cuz it seems like you have experience in this let me know send me a link for something that work on mine I also heard that galvanized piping works better probably can do like a carbon fiber mesh mixed material to it and I also seen people putting the superchargers trubo & pipes into the exhaust

    Great video man! I'm excited for this bill to be done! I have a question though. You don't need to weld that shaft for the supercharger? The grinding compound is strong enough to be durable over time? I'm just curious I've never used the product.
    Thanks again for doing this build! it's pretty fucking awesome

    • @rhetericalpha
      @rhetericalpha  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I love the enthusiasm you're showing for the build! Share it with biker buddies who don't know about it!
      As for the drive spigot. If welded... can't really get it off without a lot of Disassembly. So the grinding compound is not holding it together. I should have explain it a bit better but didn't want to get boring on video. The grinding compound grinds the two surfaces plum like used when lapping a valve in a head. I cleaned the compound off. Now there is as much surface area as possible touching and the pressure from the large bolt pushes the shaft against that gear that is rotated by the crank. So it uses plain ol' friction to turn the supercharger :) If more people ask about that i will address it on the next video. Glad you asked

    • @fnnm1
      @fnnm1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rhetericalpha So the lapped mating surfaces plus the clamping force of the through bolt make the drive sprocket, the lapped spacer, and the supercharger pulley one integral component. Obviously it works. I too thought there should be a more positive attachment method such as welding.

    • @rhetericalpha
      @rhetericalpha  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fnnm1 Absolutely correct. The through bolt gets torqued to 70ft lbs and a Nord lock washer is used as well to keep it from loosening. A welded drive would probably work best but it seems for this application it is more than enough. I think it was ease of use for this Kit when TTS designed it. So the person who purchased it wouldn't have to go through all the trouble of Disassembly.
