Thanks for the reply Bob,it,s hard to get accurate info ,BRP says don,t use any fuel less than 91 and then state that you can use reg fuel in the 230(same basic engine).I saw one of your last vids you were ordering a new limited, good luck with the new ride, hopefully they have the IDF thing ironed out, good idea just teething problems. Keep those vids coming, good work.

Been there many times with our boats, and it can be busy. I've seen guy's taxi people, 8 or more a time and drop them off the Wellers Bay side to access the beach. And yes, part of the beach on the Wellers Bay side is illegal to walk on. Could be live ordinances buried from WWII training.

Another great video Bob. Sometimes when your grate or pump gets clogged, you can stand on the swim deck ,holding the back of the seat, and get the rear of the hull moving up and down in the water. A lot of times that will clear the grate and/or pump out. You most likely already knew that , but hey, sharing info is what we built the internet for ! Ha!

    Another great video.
I can't wait until next spring when I finally get to go out on some adventures with my Sea Doo that I hope to finally purchase before the end of the year.
Your 2018 videos are basically me, only ridden one once in my life 1997 in Mexico,.
But the time is right for me to own one and a touring one that would suit me better.

Great Video Bob, We were in that exact parking lot last spring on the bike and those docks by the launch were under water and the locals were using the lot as a sand bag filling station.

Great video Bob (as they all are). I have an Crownline 180br (18 ft) that I trailer around Ontario from Markham on the weekends with my 6 year old grandson. This Brighton trip looks great. Would that boat launch be ok for an 18ft?

Hi Bill. It’s not a bad ramp and has the dock right there to tie up to. It should not be a pro. It’s just shallow and a little weedy until you get out a little ways. The beach is really nice

@@bobsudeyko4088 thanks----I've never been to Brighton before----the launch dock is easily found plus there is space my pickup and trailer to park?

@@billbowers8188 It's at the corner of Harbour and Ontario street in Brighton. Lots of room to park, at least during the week. Not sure what weekends are like.

Enjoy your videos Bob.Would like to get your take on fueling up on the water.I see you,re riding a gtx limited 300 which calls for 91 octane(premium)Does using mid grade or reg cause any noticeable issues besides not having full power. There lots of differing opinions on this and would like to hear what you think about it. Thanks.

    • @bobsudeyko4088
      @bobsudeyko4088  3 ปีที่แล้ว

I use 91 octane if it’s available but occasionally on the water a marina will only have a mid grade fuel. 88 or 89 octane. On those occasions I will use it. It is then usually mixed with a half tank or less of the 91 octane already in the tank. To be honest I have not noticed any discernible change in power or performance. The engine seems to run the same. I can’t tell the difference.

    Step lightly!
Contractors working for the Department of National Defence are cleaning up and at times exploding various bombs and mortars on and around Baldhead Beach, a sand spit located between Lake Ontario and Wellers Bay.
The beach was used as a military bombing range for training purposes in the 1950s and unexploded ordnance has been found washed up on the sand or under the water around the spit ever since.

Great video as always bob! I enjoy doing solo trips like you as well and always looking for a new spot to explore. Would love to see you share the exact location of where you launch from sometimes it’s hard to find launch and parking areas like that. Keep the videos coming!!

You might want to check that beach for signs I am fairly sure there is, or used to be unexploded bombs out there an WWII practice bombing range. Secluded for a reason?
