Here's a hint for GPS accuracy (based on my experience with a WSD-F20): If you pre download the map into the watch (using phone) before your trek, the GPS accuracy is higher than if you just let the phone feed it maps as you go (you also get the security of having a fully independent GPS in case your phone has issues or poor cell service). It notices where I've stepped a few feet off the trail and back. (I mainly use it to avoid getting lost in unfamiliar territory. Since I'm mostly photographing wildlife, I am walking very quietly, certainly not pushing my limits to any degree so heart rate and similar functions are not really important to me.)
I bought it and using it regularly for running, walking and mountain biking in the trail. It has everything I need to monitor my bpm and other information of activity. No issue with the battery and I can charge it while wearing it and working on my laptop. I like it.
Nice review. This watch has a horrible battery life; My watch went from 100% to 96% in less than 10 minutes! Save your money!!!! I tried to love this watch and just can't!!!
I feel casio missed a trick here. I have the gbdh1000 watch, more of a fitness watch with gps and bluetooth and notifications. I have had it over a year and haven't charged it once due to the solar tech. This watch needs a much better battery setup to justify buying it.
First, is not a Fenix, so if you are serious about sports data, this is not the watch, but if you like G-Shocks this is fine. Battery life is 1 day, by that I mean day time, I have to charge it before going to sleep. If you are looking for this to be your only watch, don't. If you have several options, it is a nice complement, but you really have to like G-Shocks (like I do), to justify the price. It's a toy that in a year or two will be obsolete, as almost all "smart watches".
I bought this watch the other day and some features I can't detect or they are missing? does anyone know how to set the alarm to ring since it only works on vibration
I'm an owner. My review is it's a great watch. Good for training and pretty fun. Charging it up all the time is something I've never experienced with a watch and that's lame. Does look beautiful. Probably brought it because of that more than anything. Stupidly expensive for a watch. But love it regardless. Just one of them things. No regrets. Looks sick
The failure on all smart watches is the proprietary charger because all brands have a relatively short support period. In 3 years when the charger fails you may not be able to get another. No problem just buy a new smartwatch for now $799 and trash the old one into a dolphins blowhole. They like Casio's anyway.

Do you need your phone close to it or can I leave my phone at home when on runs
@@sir_loki9551 It can be use without your hp with you. When you done, you can transfer the activity to G Shock Move apps.
@@samadsaif1202 is this watch solar powerd like GBD h1000?. can you please tell me.
@@mohammadferozsadiq7572 it’s not solar no. 7 hours when using the smart functions. 3 days on the LCD display
Your *honest* review is sooo much appreciated!
Casio should made the bezel 5mm wider and it will be a perfect wall clock. Other ways it perform good as office clock.

Could it be possible that your unit was defective?
Sale it to Me
Agree, nothing special as a smart watch and terrible battery life. Shame as it looks decent
Apparently I watches and Samsung smart watches has the same battery life

Yeah big time but I also heard it was rushed and that way they have something to offer in the future maybe. But jeez it could be such a game changer

I'm really like this gwsh as a smart watch, but i'm still confident with my instinct solar as a fitness watch.
Beautifully reviewed, Thanks a lot 👍
Thanks for the video!
I love the g-shocks but I'm thinking of buying a smart watch. fenix 5x or gsw? Thank you
Hi dear friend
This watch is also shockproof
how much
Greeting! Can music be stored in it?
How can they not have NFC. Thats like one of the main features of a smart OS watch.. for $700
This watch can also be paired with iOS? and how you can tell if it's an original or a fake
Looks awesome
Garmin instinct solar is the way to go, and I love g shocks
Yeah, have to say I really liked the Instinct Solar. It's a great fitness watch, with amazing battery life.
Agreed. Got a Garmin Instinct Solar during the Amazon Prime day sale for $249. Outstanding watch.
No mention ofvtext messages or phone call answer ? Can you see texts I have the h100 and it's useless to read texts .can text size be increased ?
Can you compare it with apple watch
How much is “better” battery life?
have jump rope workout mode?
I bought this watch the other day and some features I can't detect or they are missing? does anyone know how to set the alarm to ring since it only works on vibration
Can you install Spotify to this watch?
That would actually swing it for me, if you could download music for running
Es muy dificil encontrar donde comprarlo, vivo en miami, es imposible, alguien tiene info?
Tengo dudas si lo descontinuaron, tampoco hay reviews recientes.
Looks great, but is actually pretty much garbage. Won’t stay synced, battery is horrid, returned it after two days.

And of course no SpO2, no blood pressure and the watch isn't available in most of the world
Finally? Really! you cant text or make phone calls...! What a piece of junk🤦♂️🤣!
