Hello my dear. I have always wanted to see someone make one of these shapes. You did a wonderful job, thank you. God’s blessings to you and your family.🙏🏻💖Canada 🇨🇦
I sent this video to my mother. She loves working with scrappy fabric, but videos with excessive talking distracts her. Thanks so much for the pretty pattern!
Thank you for this video I love how you taught us how to make your size on your hexagon I want to learn more shapes for paper piecing that helped me a lot
Such splendid execution! Everything is neat, straight, no wrinkles, just perfect. What a precision skills you possess. Love this project. Sky's the limit what an imagination can do. Thank you much for sharing and fantastic instructional video. 💐👍👍👍🤩
Qué hermosura!! Gracias por éste video, haré almohadones, porque realmente debe lucirse todo y si le ponemos un adirno se pierde un poco, la saludo desde Buenos Aires, Argentina ❤❤
I'm a gal who works best in inches. LOL! I made my hexagon 2 1/2 inches on edges vs. 5cm. Thinking I'm going to use this idea to create a large quilt vs. placemat as shown in video. Going to work through my giant pile of scraps that I accumulated from making Lutheran World Relief quilts. Thinking it will be fun as it gets to the edges where I need length vs. width I'll just be adding on the top and bottom. Who knows. Also...sticking with 2.5" strips will allow me to grab a Jelly Roll if my scraps run low. So fun. Thanks for sharing!
I love it, now I know where I went wrong with my patch work chairs 😂😂😂. Turned out nice , but not as professional and beautifully made as yours . Thank you ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your wonderful videos! And it is really helpful to have a photo at the beginning! Thank you for adding this! I can save it and watch many times now! Love your work and creative ideas, thank you once again!! Sending lots of love 💞 xxxlolxxx
Really nice video. One small suggestion...please use a metal ruler when using the cutter to cut paper patterns else your plastic ruler edge will get ruined. 😊
Thank you so much Thuy, I really really enjoyed watching you create this stunning and unique place mate. Your sewing 🧵 is exquisite and so beautifully executed too. I absolutely love ❤❤❤❤❤ this. Please 🙏 stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi, dear. I made it !!! I'm happy to learned how to draw an hexagon 😂😂😂. Easy, I made it almost whithout doubts and mistakes, then you are teaching perfectly. Thank you very very much!!!!❤❤❤
Very pretty. I have a question, though. What happens to the backing when you wash it, since you didn't quilt it also? Does it get all kittywhampus and difficult to iron?
It is small enough that it shouldn’t be a problem. It would certainly get wrinkled in the wash but ironing is enough. I’ve made several pieces this way and it hasn’t been an issue.
This is the best video on this technique to use up scraps. Thank you for clear directions.
Восторг и восхищение!!!!,замирает сердце от красоты,сделанной Вашими руками!!!😊😊😊❤
😢😂😅😂😂😂
А зачем такая? До первой стирки

Beautiful video! Not sure why I never considered log cabin-ing around other shapes, but the result is enticing. Another scrappy possibility! 😍

The mathematical relationship is perfect, but I have to admit I would never have thought to do that

Que lindo ❤
If you had your backing fabric attached, this could easily be made “ stitch and flip” or quilt as you go. Just need to put binding on at the end.
Love your use of scraps. can’t wait to make my first one. Thanks a lot.
Sehr schön.

@@mcv8449 Thank you. I think I'll try the quilting part after sewing on the backing, just to see what would happen.
You could try a layer of light interfacing in the centre. It would give stability without bulk.
Por favor en Español, que me hacen sentir excluida, y eso no está bien
