In the village, it is possible to pick and make beans on the spot, which naturally makes their taste sweeter. In addition to traditional methods, today I also made two foreign flavors with fava beans that I had eaten before. One dish is a fava bean and onion salad from Chile, with an unexpected taste. Another dish is broad bean thick soup, which is not commonly eaten in the village. But it has brought more joy to my rural life.

1. Onion and broad bean
First, dice the onion, then boil the fava beans in hot water until fully cooked. Then, mix the diced onion and fava beans, add lemon vinegar, salt, monosodium glutamate, and a large amount of cilantro, and stir well
2. Fava bean cake
Stir the glutinous rice flour with water until it is thick, add fresh broad beans, add a drop of salt and rub it into strips, cut it into corresponding sizes with a knife, and finally steam it in a pot.
3. Braised Rice with Broad Bean
Add rice, water, and cooking oil. Cook over heat in a clay pot until half cooked, then add fava beans and your favorite dishes. Add salt, soy sauce, and grass fruits, and continue to cook over heat until fully cooked
