Hi, I'm a mo cap performer and wanted to share a painful story of mine about these REmakes. In late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the motion capture role of Leon for the RE 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part...☹ Now many years later, when I see how successful those remakes are I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. In this business one audition can change your entire life. PS. The camera in the Original was worse :)

Call me a nostalgia snouther but the old game's brown and bland environment is really charming, give me that 'far away from home' or 'unfamiliar old place' vibes
Oh yeah absolutely, I think objectively the new ones an improvement but the old almost cartoony looking village definitely has some good memories for me too :)
You're not alone I completely agree, I think the remake and OG are completely different games that just follow the same story and both have things that are better than the other in certain aspects. Like for me personally I miss the goofy ass parts where the enemies would hack Leon's radio just to face time him and talk shit for absolutely no reason other than to be petty, a lot of their character really shined in those moments.

I'm not sure how I feel about the QTE, but the people who hate them will scream if they come back.
Personally I loved them but I can see how theyre a bit dated
sorry to be that guy but why dosent anyone like 6 :( it has sick melee animations too also mercenaries mode
ooh havent tried it yet but from the gameplay ive seen it looks pretty fun
Play the game on new game professional mode and once u confront the regenerators u will know true fear they fr start running
