It is exactly that, more useful than a simple top 5. If I was looking for IEMs under $100 and I knew my personal preference for sound, I would definitely appreciate this, separating them into different tunings. Not everyone likes the same sound. Fortunately for me I know what I like and already own his recommendations :)

I blind bought the S08 at full price because you liked it so much and was not disappointed. A great IEM for listening to loud music and weirdly enough youtube videos/twitch streams. Works really great with Dunu S&S.

Fantastic work Amigo! I have been enjoying your videos today. Several sets that I have been eyeballing! I totally agree with you that the Sonus is underrated and especially at lower prices. I bought mine for around $35 to $40 dollars. The Fudu Verse is another one I really want to add to my collection as well! Keep up the awesome work!

Nice vid. I just got the CCA Hydro from the 11/11 sale for $85 (list at $110 I think). It surprised me and I would include it as one to consider under $100. It has a full sound and is a different flavor than my mains (Meteors, Doscincos/Estrellas and the Punch coming in two days). Just don’t use the included foam tips. Sounds great with S&S tips.
I don’t have the Hydro with me. I only heard it once a while back and I don’t remember it clearly. I remember not being blown away by it but I wasn’t a review back then so I didn’t take notes or anything. I’ll try to get one in.
It's not often that I see TRI mentioned. They have some very good models. ARTTI T10 might be on sale soon, as T10 Pro is coming (video on T10 production on official ARTTI TH-cam channel at 1:59).
This is my target price range and I have a few of these on the list. I think you did a great job with selection here. For me that likes neutral warm, I have the Delci and EW300 and both are amazing. I think the EW300, even with the silver nozzles is warm enough that I don't find them fatiguing at all. I can't decide with ones I like more and keep switching back and forth. They are very similar though... I probably didn't have to buy the EW300, but it gives me slightly better technicalities and versality I guess.

I'm looking for clear separations, quality bass (rumble, texture, extension but not dominant, just enough), clean mids, balanced male & female vocals (not overpowering each other), bright, airy/extension treble (not harsh and sibilant) and just enough details that are not fatiguing. Imaging and soundstage are not really a priority to me. Also, I came from Tin Hifi C3 which is my first IEM. I actually like the thing, but my one issue is the dark, suffocating, non airy/no extension treble. I equipped it with the tangzu tang sancai eartips. My edc is the now discontinued sony extra bass earphones. But the bass is just too dominant, even though I really like it. After I switch the eartips into Tangzu tang sancai, it sounds much better. Mids are no longer recessed and the treble (in some songs only, rare occurance) is no longer sibilant. I really recommend the tang sancai for any V shaped earphones/buds/IEMs. Thanks. Cheers. I’m a planar IEM fanboy. For classical music the speed and accuracy the driver provides makes for great detail and resolution. Check out the Letshuoer S12 Pro or the NiceHCK F1 pro depending on how much bass you want. If you want full details for purely classical music, try out the Moondrop Stellaris. At low/moderate volumes it’s an absolute superstar with big symphonies.

A lot of appreciation for the quality of the content. I'd just like to ask, i'm in a position where i can get all three mays, xuan nv, verse 1's for pretty much 70€ (considering i need a dac), which one do you think is the less fatiguing and warm (not too much) to listen to, I'd prefer a rather normal audio signature, ideally not very bass heavy and perhaps even a little elevation on the high presence. Or should i just wait till 29/11 hoping to get a deal on the novas, i have very little coins rn
Fudu is the most relaxing sounding of that group. It's close with the Xuan Nv, but the extra midbass on the Fudu calms it down that little bit extra. I don't find the Fudu to be too bassy, but if you're worried about that the Xuan Nv is a good middle ground in terms of treble energy between the May and the Fudu. The Xuan Nv is the closet to "Neutral" from that group, and the May has extra energy in the upper mids and treble that make it more V-shaped. I'd go with the Fudu if you want something warm, and the Xuan Nv if you want something more neutral. I don't think I've seen anybody call the XuanNv fatiguing. I sure wouldn't

The P20 is an underrated IEM. It's a chill, relaxed planar like the S08, but it's a bit more V-shaped than the S08. A little bit more bass, and a little bit more treble. The Treble presentation can be a little wonky with the way the harmonics are handled, but if you don't mind that, it's a very underrated planar IEM, especially when it's under $80. I think you scored a deal!

i kept getting comments about s08 lacking bass power. which got me curious about 7hz legato. i listened to some sound demo but the mids didnt sound good to my ear. i will wait for the review of legato and jusear, seems interesting.
nice looking forward to it. In that audio sample it was comparing legato to another iem and on the last it demoed fatfreq and the difference was just too noticeable. then i look at the price for fatfreq and it made sense hahaha
just sharing i was comparing s08 and e20 with the song "Hulaan - Janine" with the S08 it is as if she was singing right in your ear, with e20... i dont know how to describe but its not bad, but it sounds fuller.

The Truthear Nova is coming in the Under $200 video (stuck in TH-cam processing), but $101 is an EXCELLENT price for it. I haven’t tried any of the others with the exception of the new LZ Libra X. I haven’t listened to it for very long but it reminds me of a baby 7Hz Zero. I like it so far.
Hey thanks for the amazing 3 part videos! Just bought my 2nd and 3rd IEMs being the Kinera IgniteX Beast and the SIMGOT EW300 for $34 and $52 after tax respectively! Hopefully🤞 I will enjoy both of them! Also I do have a question about the EW300, is the tuning/sound between the base and HBB version different?

I did a video on it and while the graphs are slightly different I think it’s more down to manufacturer variance. th-cam.com/video/yuKVVY1DDRM/w-d-xo.html I recommend getting the standard version if cost is a factor. But if cost isn’t a factor and you have a normal 3.5mm cable I recommend the DSP version because the DSP cable unlocks a different tunings so you get 4 instead of 2.

Brother, would you recommend grabbing aful magic one , ea500lm or ew300 ? I was looking for a high resolution vocal focused set, but 50% discount on magic one is tempting.
@@gokuljosh1186 the 500LM is extremely resolving, but very bright. It’s better for female vocals, but I feel the Magic One is better for Male Vocals. If you’re treble sensitive, go for the Magic One. If you prefer Female Vocals, go for the 500LM If you prefer male vocals, go for the MagicOne.
Nice video, like it. But why are you recommending EW300 Standard and not the DSP Version? If you have a 2-pin cable you get 4 different tunings instead of 2 for 10$ more. Also I think you should recommend an alternate to T10 because of it's form factor.
The alternative to the T10 is in my previous videos: the SGOR Luna. As far as the EW300 Standard goes, it’s the lowest price. And for some people the 2 tunings is more than enough. I DO typically recommend the DSP over the Standard, and I mention that in my EW300 addendum video. I think it’s a better buy even if Simgot won’t let you use the full power of the DSP

@@mrkunefeci1741 the May has nicer accessories and better build quality. The sound is a bit of a toss-up. The May is overall smoother, but I’d say it comes down to if you prefer a Planar or a DD in the bass. The May has more sub-bass rumble, but the Luna has slightly cleaner lower mids.

If I'm willing to buy Knowledge Zenith (KZ) PRX for my first planar driver IEM, is it worth the wait for next month to be available in my country? Or just buy the Sgor Luna instead?
I’d rank them like this: 1: Artti T-10 2: KZ PRX 3: Sgor Luna The T-10 is the best package and the best sounding by far. But if you can’t get it for a good price in your country, the PRX is a good option. It’s better than the SGOR Luna, but the Luna includes a dongle and a slightly nicer cable. The PRX does sound better, but I would only get it if it was the same price as the Luna.
Most of my sales prices are based on the summer sales. Some stores do better deals for 11.11, others for the summer sale or other sales. Depends on what the company feels like.

I just got my FatFreq Deuce in. There will be a lot of Basshead comparisons in that video.

How would you rate the Moondrop May without the dsp? With a normal cable and some wavelet eq’ing?
@@davegorthuis679 it’s still great. The DSP sound is extremely similar to the Analog sound. I’d rate it overall the same with or without the DSP Cable
Is the warm, big headphone sound worth buying? Is it devoid of brightness and worth buying blindly? iem legato
The legato has some treble energy. Not as much as something like the Zero2or Chu2, but enough for some good energy in EDM or more musical tracks.

If I'm willing to buy Knowledge Zenith (KZ) PRX for my first planar driver IEM, is it worth the wait for next month to be available in my country? Or just buy the Sgor Luna instead?
I’d rank them like this:
1: Artti T-10
2: KZ PRX
3: Sgor Luna
The T-10 is the best package and the best sounding by far. But if you can’t get it for a good price in your country, the PRX is a good option. It’s better than the SGOR Luna, but the Luna includes a dongle and a slightly nicer cable. The PRX does sound better, but I would only get it if it was the same price as the Luna.

I'd say 11.11 and 12.12 are within marginal to each other. But you can get better deals outside of these sales on occasion
Most of my sales prices are based on the summer sales. Some stores do better deals for 11.11, others for the summer sale or other sales. Depends on what the company feels like.
