Great video. I run a card drive for cancer patients. So make as many cards each day as possible. These are good quick ideas that can be mass duplicates. Last yr I personally made over 4000 cards. So I love new fast card ideas.
Great video. Back in the day all the extras weren't born yet 😅😅😅 and this brings back the simplicity we started with and I think it helps to realize that it's OK not to take the decorating to the extreme. Thx for sharing. I'm a new subscriber and I'm looking forward to more of your videos.😊😊😊
“Back in the day” I used patterned paper with everything (scrapbook pages and cards), but I rarely do it now. I have a TON of it, and need to get back to using it and enjoying it. I’m glad to see it start creeping back into the new supplies I see on all the online paper rafting sites. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love this tutorial ! I watched it a few months ago and made a whole batch of cards this way. The whole non-measuring idea works great for me as I have problems with cutting and Layering mats and panels. It's easier for me to place a patterned Paper on solid card stock and just trim the edge. I'm revisiting this video so I can make another set of cards. Thanks Desiree.
Love the colors in this pack. So very pretty. These fronts will make beautiful cards. Great job. I always forget about tearing the paper. Love that effect too.
I love watching you tear down a card pack and form it into cards. it gives me ideas, gets my mojo going. I go back and watch the ones you have done before for added ideas. It's great to watch your videos.
This was very helpful. Thank you for sharing, I didn’t know what to do with those elements on the paper pads that were there that were just pretty. You’ve shown how to be creative and organized and use up this paper I keep buying 🧐
Love the simplicity. And don't mind the "jabber" either. I always watch videos to pick up even the slightest tip, technique, idea that I can incorporate into my own crafting. Your words give a great explanation of what's going on in your thoughts when you look at your materials. Great job. I've subscribed!
These colors are stunning! I absolutely love your simplicity series! I have very limited space and a limited budget so I don't have the tools for heat embossing, hot foil machines, etc... so it's a lovely reminder to enjoy the process with what you have and still make beautiful cards 😊 Also, anyone who has a problem with you chatting or talking through your video can 1) worry about themselves; 2) mute or just watch another channel; and 3) kick rocks 😅 I thoroughly enjoy your voiceovers! Plus we're from the same area so your soothing voice and accent are super calming to me 💕 Thanks for constantly putting yourself out there to teach, inspire, and entertain us.
I love this idea! I have paper pads but I really don't know what to do with them. Now I do and I like the idea of having them ready to go for making cards in a hurry! Thanks for sharing!
How and why am I not being notified about these vids?!? 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏽♀️ But I was in awe at the return of this series; loved your detailed instructions and final beautiful cards created!! 🥰🤩👍🏾 Thank you for posting!! 🙏🏾💜🥰 This is a lovely paper pad… 🥰😃🥰😉
Wow some fabulous info I hadn't twigged to ... like image sizing adjusts to size of pad 💡 As a newbie to cardmaking this video is super helpful. I'd appreciate a video explaining your chopping up pad pages decision process please 🙏 Thanks from Australia 🐨 🐾
WELCOME! I will try to do that in future videos for everyone. For this video though I unfortunately would not be able…. I just like to cut and layer and enjoy the process…
I am absolutely in love with that paper pack. Where did you find that? I think I must have it because it will make some great sympathy and get well cards.
Respectfully, not all 12"x12" patterned papers have large images. Anytime one is looking to purchase patterned paper packs, they should check all the pages in the pack to make sure that at least one side of each sheet will suit their purposes.
Hey Desiree great to see you! I'm a long time subie, but for whatever reason YT stopped sending me your videos and unclicked the bell for all your notifications! So I clicked the bell again for all your videos. Love this video, yes I'm guilty of all of the above. My name is Debbie and I have a paper and hoarder addiction! P-13 is one of many my favs. Love the idea of letting the paper be the star of the show. Love all the cards!
I am asking for advice. I have all kinds of paper and card stock. However I have one paper pack in particular that I just think is so beautiful. Problem is it's so pretty I never use it. I'm always "saving" it for something special and still haven't used it. Any ideas when you have this happen? This pack is called "Meet me in Paris?
Oh yes, I have had this happen, honestly I feel it happens often because we just fall in love with the design…. When though you have that one pad you just can’t let go of, I usually make myself something special to sit in my home so I can always see it…. It is tough to get started though because I usually get stuck on what project shall I do, lol…
I love these Desiree. I have so many paper pads that I really NEED to start using. Thank you for the inspiration and I love listening to you waffle, it’s part of the reason I follow you 😂 TY again 🥰. Oh and I meant to say, I love your new intro too, it’s very up beat! 🎶 🎶 🎶

WOW! That is wonderful!
🤯 4000!!!! Go you! 🥳

I am so glad you enjoyed the video!
These remind me of the Mintay paper pads that, I think, also come from Poland. Beautiful paper!
Oh pattern paper, I'm addicted!!! I have everything but pattern paper I need more!!
Gab away! It makes it seem like you and I are crafting and chatting together!
LOL, will do!
I"m in love with this paper pack! I recently picked up my cardmaking again and this was one of my favorites. I just LOVE the colors!

You are the sweetest
Loved your process! Hopefully I will get to work using my own stash of pretty papers!
New subscriber with you!
Welcome!
I don’t get how you can make all the paper fit together without measuring? What size are they all? I love this..
Wow some fabulous info I hadn't twigged to ... like image sizing adjusts to size of pad 💡
As a newbie to cardmaking this video is super helpful.
I'd appreciate a video explaining your chopping up pad pages decision process please 🙏
Thanks from Australia 🐨 🐾
I would be happy to do that for the first simplicity video in 2023!
I love your gabby😊🌺
Great ideas! Keep the videos coming! Couldn't help but notice your 'Philly' accent on the video. We're practically neighbors as I'm in NE Philly. ❤
I am about 18 miles outside of Philly! Hey neighbor!
Love your video, thank you! Could you list the measurements that you cut the 6x6 paper to make your cards please? Thank you! Subscribing!
WELCOME! I will try to do that in future videos for everyone. For this video though I unfortunately would not be able…. I just like to cut and layer and enjoy the process…
Love
What kind of glue are you using? Love the cards!
Most likely it was art glitter glue…
This was a great tutorial. What is the difference between a paper pad and a paper pack?
So for me a paper pad is something that is glued together, a paper pack are sheets of paper packed together and single sheets.
I am absolutely in love with that paper pack. Where did you find that? I think I must have it because it will make some great sympathy and get well cards.
I think I found it on Scrapbook.com…
Do these card bases that you made measure 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” and then fully cover a card base? Thank you for sharing!
Yes these panels in this video measure 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 in and will cover the card base.
Thanks for replying. Have a blessed weekend! 🌸🌸🌸

Well hey there! Yes TH-cam is awesome that way…. Pattern paper can and does so much!
Debbie YT has done that with quite a few of my subscribed channels. I actually went through all my subscriptions and checked them...I found 8!

Beautiful cards 😻 I love your card designs, the pattern papers and your tutorial ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
I love all the different ideas. I just can't get the measurements.
I love these Desiree. I have so many paper pads that I really NEED to start using. Thank you for the inspiration and I love listening to you waffle, it’s part of the reason I follow you 😂 TY again 🥰. Oh and I meant to say, I love your new intro too, it’s very up beat!
🎶 🎶 🎶
Lol, thank you!
On your 1st card, there's so many layers. You aren't concerned about the front being so much heavier than the inside part?
Not really… the card stock and the pattern paper are not within the heavy weight area of paper…
How do u cut them to fit your solid colors.😢
It is like a fussy cut, place your cut pattern paper on your solid card stock and then trim around the paper!
I bought 2 6x6 pads
The designs on a 12 X 12 pad are twice the size of those on a 6 X 6 pad.
That's the only way you get the answer you want 😅
