    you blow my mind! I'd LOVE to figure out how to use a 6X6 paper pad! I just get it and can not see the process, even if I sit here and watch it step by step. I watch these type of videos in awe, and then pull out my pads and get overwhelmed and put them back on the shelf. these are beautfiul.

    YAY finally someone that admits they use recollections cardstock! I use 110 for bases and the 65 lb for layering. I do wish you could buy entire packs of some colors.

      In July I noticed Michael's does carry some packs with all one color, some with 5 related colors. And it wasn't just white, ivory, Kraft, etc., there was red and a light turquoise blue that I remember.

    "If you don't have sentiments, that's okay. These can be notecards. You don't have to have something on the front of your card...let the paper put all of this together for you."
    "I could talk about this stuff for hours! Which would probably drive some people crazy. Hehehe" 😂😆
    "Your solid cardstocks helps that pattern paper become your focal point. We always have to have a focal point."
    "I just love playing with paper. I just love the texture, and how it feels, and what we we can do with it."
    I enjoy the nuggets of wisdom along with the beautiful cards! Thank you, so much. 🥰

    I loved watching you make note cards. I also love that you do not waste anything. It hurts my heart when people create something and if it doesn't quite print right they throw it out instead of turning it over and trying again. If it doesn't show through the paper, no one will ever know it's there once the glue dries. Love your channel.

    Love it! I started doing this but on a way smaller scale and it takes me way longer to come up with 2 or 3 cards! After watching your video maybe I could look at the whole pad instead of struggling to use just 2 or 3 papers. Your cards came out beautiful!

    Thank you, Desiree, for sharing this idea. It is very freeing not to have to measure anything. And the ideas of "no greeting" and using white card bases saves time and money. I predict a couple of "speed" sessions ahead in my studio. Peace!

    Love the pattern paper! 👌 I was inspired because I have a LOT of pattern paper and I thought I was going to have to make junk journals with most of it. Question: What to you do about sentiments now 🤔? Do you make up a variety and just have them ready? Do you stamp on the inside? Do you wait and add sentiments as you need them? Enjoyed your video.

    I just watched this video. I wouldn've used a die cut to cut out a sentiment from the sandwiched piece of paper to glue onto the top piece of paper and have it
    match. No one would see the negative space since it's covered up and your sentiment would match.

    • @IncludeaThankYou
      @IncludeaThankYou  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When cutting I usually just go with what looks appealing but for the most part in the area of 3x4 or 3.5 x 4.5 or even 4x5.25. This is in inches for the pattern paper and then for the mats I add a 1/4 of an inch. Hope that helps?
