The voice-over was just what I need thank you.
As a newbie it's process & techniques I need rather than measurements which, for me anyway, would stifle my creativity.
Thank you sooo much for creating informative & useful tutorials 😍

I love all your videos. However, these vids of breaking down the paper pads and matching everything up are my favorites. You give me great ideas and inspiration.

I've shared this idea a few times and always gotten a good response, so I'll share it here too! I love making things, but I don't really like crafting on a deadline. So I came up with an idea that works well for me. I started a box of card bits- I've got card backgrounds, pre-made sentiments (sentiment strips as well as dimensional ones I've made with my electronic cutting machine), matching envelopes, and various decorative bits (baker's twine, gems, studs, etc) all in one place. When I have the crafting urge I make a few card backgrounds, or some envelopes (I won't lie, I really dislike making envelopes!!). When someone in the house needs a card they pick out a background and a sentiment and I assemble it for them. It works beautifully for my family, and maybe it can work for yours!

I love working with paper packs like this. I think it’s great to teach beginners that just using your creativity and mixing different papers in a pack, you can’t “make a mistake”. It helps build your confidence. You can create beautiful cards, just as you did, Desiree! I love what you did with this paper pad. Thanks!

I really like the way you broke down the papers from the paper pack. Just sorting the paper into piles was a first step in making 13 cards. I'm going to try this with card-of-the-month club's paper pack. Thanks ❣️

Sorry Desiree, I hit the 👎🏻 by mistake 😱😱😱. I’ve since hit the RIGHT 👍🏻 one! Anyhoo, I’m always blown away with the way you put pattern papers to work. I have a lot of papers and tend to take them out, look at them and then think to myself “how do I use these”!!! I really need to stop being scared to put them on to cards 🥴🫤. Very inspirational video. Thank you 😊

For those watching in the UK 60lb in card stock weight is 169gsm
80lb is 216gsm. Googled this as I had no idea. Hope it helps!
