looks pretty easy. i was a bit scared messing around with the gas pipe because im afraid i would blow things up. but this educated me alot and gave me confidence. i have a gas dryer myself but it needs some fixing. thank you!
Overall good stuff. Here's a couple of tips I learned over the years: use rigid or semi rigid ducting with a 90 angle instead of foil. The semi rigid is smother plus the foil is considered 🔥hazard. When checking for leaks use dish soap mixed with a bit of water. The bubbles will show up better.
I have one tip. Go to the hardware store and buy yourself a basket for the exterior vent. It cost me over $600 when birds flew in mine. I told my neighbor I saw them going in and out of her vent. So I guess when she closed up hers, they were looking for another place to live, It’s a very common problem that is relatively inexpensive to prevent.
So there's no pilot to light I'm in the middle of doing the same so let like on a gas stove you have to light the pilot what I'm asking is just plug it in turn gas on and it will do it by itself hope that makes sense thanks for any help 👍
Great job, and your wife should be very happy knowing that her hubby has helpful money saving skills.
I always remind her of that ;).

Thanks for the tip! 👍 😃
Great Video! 👍
Thank you! :)
Yellow tape is for gas only. White is for water pipes only. They also make an orange tape that is good for both but much more expensive
Good think you say this
Thx's very helpful!😊
I noticed you put the fitting with the blue collar on backwards. The flow arrows on the blue collar point backwards instead of to the dryer.
Thank you for pointing that out. :)
appreciate the video keep going god bless

Yes just plug in and turn on gas. The dryer will take care of the rest. :)
Great job
do you need the tape?
You’ll need to use the white tape stuff / teflon tape wherever there is no rubber seal. ;).
do you need to tighten the the coil to the dryer and after that you cannot remove it unless you untighten it?
Sorry I’m not sure what you mean.. what do you mean by coil?
Two outta three ain't bad.
How the gas get ignition
There is a electronic igniter inside that does it automatically when you start the dryer. :)
Aren’t you supposed to use both tape and thread sealant
No but you can. :)
Either is fine. I choose the pipe dope
Buen trabajo
Si - no bueno :)
