Thank you for doing this. One question, does it matter if the closure is installed with the BC Valve and speed valves reverse? I notice this after I finished.

from my experience it sounds like one of your adjustments screws is to tight unless your shock arm is set to close. But best of luck with your project. :)

looks pretty easy. i was a bit scared messing around with the gas pipe because im afraid i would blow things up. but this educated me alot and gave me confidence. i have a gas dryer myself but it needs some fixing. thank you!

IDK if it's available everywhere, but you can buy giant rattle cans of the Rustoleum enamel that have a 12" spray pattern. Might be worth it to avoid the cleanup of oil-based in your sprayer

There is a product called paint over rust. Would have saved you so much time. Or what is called implement paint which is a heavy duty paint used on farm equipment. In some cases much cheaper than the paint you are using. Tractor Supply
