Hi Jenna, I'm watching this after you decided to leave youtube for a while. I just wanted to let you know (even though you probably won't see this) that your content has helped me through a lot. This video in particular helped me not feel so alone, I was born a girl and I too want a beard. But this video helped me realize I was non binary, not saying wanting a beard makes you non binary. There was a lot going on. But it helped, it helped so much. If it weren't for you I would still be feeling lost in my identity and being confused about everything. You really help more than you have hurt, a lot of people with channels your size can't say that. Anyway, please come back sometime. Not necessarily soon. Just when you're ready and you feel better. I think a you help a lot of people like me, who feel lost and alone, or left behind. You're so nice and I miss you!

Update 2.0 - thank you for all the likes and supportive comments, I am about to turn 17 and I am now 1 year on testosterone, it has been quite a trip and it is crazy to think that it all kinda started with a video of a lady putting on a fake beard for fun. My facial hair is definitely coming in and I am looking into top surgery, things are scary right now for LGBT folks where I live but I'm optimistic. Thanks for all the support :) oh also idk if I clarified before but I am not really nonbinary, I am just a dude. Idk if man is the right word so dude feels just about right lol.

@Mariana Rocha PCOS stands for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. It has many symptoms, but the main problem is that cysts can grow on your ovaries. It’s a little scary.. but I’m learning to live with it. Another thing that happens is my body makes more testosterone than it should (the male hormone). So that means I grow more hair than the average person. I basically have to shave my neck and face like a man, otherwise I’d actually grow a beard. Other symptoms range from obesity, to acne, to depression. It’s pretty crazy. But I’m glad someone’s asking! This is a pretty big part of my life and I’m happy someone wants to learn about it.

My friend’s beard grows in very patchy so when he said he wished he could grow a nice beard, I showed him this and suggested he buy a fake one. He found a beautiful beard that looks very real, and in the reviews there were a lot of women wearing them as well and I personally think this video inspired those women ❤️

Rewatching this video, I remembered a few years ago I cut and donated approx. 12 inches of my own hair that was roughly the same color and curliness was Jenna’s new beard. If any of that beard is my hair, I just have to say that I’d be so honored to help Jenna live her dream of having a beard. Hell yeah!
