This reminds me of my dad
when i was a 4 year old kid my little sister was a baby in the hospital with meningitis and my mom stayed with her day and night (she is fine and healthy now, they had caught it very early stage) and so my dad took care of me without my moms help, and he did my hair....... he put it into 18 different braids sticking up all over my head. my mom saw when we went to visit them in the hospital and my mom was shocked. i think it's impressive that he knew how to braid. he really tried to make a cool style! but after they came home from the hospital he never did my hair again. haha. god bless xoxo

The trick to thick “loose” braids is actually to do a tight as hell braid and then pull it apart. That way you get the close fluffy stitches rather than skinny thin stitches.
I gonna try that.... please don't disappoint me...
Violet soul Pulling from the edges of the stitch and slowly working your way to the middle part of the stitch also helps if you have thinner hair.

For us bitches with thin af hair, for certain braids and styles I even have to use dry shampoo and rat/fluff the hair up as I braid it, because just pulling it apart at the end doesn't give the texture or volume you need if you don't have the hair to begin with lol

Katie Payne Funnily enough, I did a month of doing complicated braids every day and I actually developed toned biceps from 1-2 hours of braiding my own hair for 31 days. It was exhausting but awesome.

At least 2-3 times a year I find myself rewatching Jenna marbles videos cuz she’s the TH-camr who gets me through rough times by simply just *existing* on TH-cam. The trick is to curl your hair and use something to give it texture before braidings. Extensions would definitely help too.
That doesn't define it - maybe for some but there's other ways like hair spray that gives volume or having naturally thick hair
