Your hair looks good and I was kinda surprised it didn't feel drier. If I use this mousse for too many wash days in a row my hair gets REALLY dry. I would be curious if you like the mousse and hairspray combo by itself. I saw a comment about Marc Anthony. I recently bought the flaxseed gel and would be curious what your thoughts are on it. GREAT VIDEO, as always!
That's interesting that the mousse makes your hair dry using it multiple times in a row. You're the second person to want to see the mousse and hairspray combo, so it looks like I'll be doing that. I did a Marc Anthony Strictly Curls review of the cream and mousse last year, but they didn't have the flaxseed gel at the time. Is it something new, or has my store just not been carrying it? I probably won't review thar gel anytime soon though.
@@lifeoffinecurls I believe it is new. SwavyCurlyCourtney reviewed it recently and I found it in Amazon. Personally my hair hated it, I was just curious what you thought.
I love this series. Not bad for cheap products. I was wondering how the mousse will do as a single styler. I have the cream & mousse in my stash. I've tried the gel, I think for my hair, it'll work best as the top styler, after micro plopping. Have you tried Marc Anthony line? The have a flaxseed gel.
@@simplycurlyde I’ll have to check out the Marc Anthony line. I have so many products in my cupboard - I don’t know if I should be using a single line or mixing and matching different brands. I do love TreLuxe and I own a LOT of Curlsmith.
It's always good to hear your thoughts and experiences with products. I have tried Marc Anthony's Strictly Curls stlyers, but only the cream and mousse. They didn't have a gel at my store. I did the review last year, and I'll leave it linked here. th-cam.com/video/Ws2HlGvz57A/w-d-xo.html
@joelyisdoingherbest I mix and match my brands very often. If you watch some of my Chat With Me episodes share a lot of that mixing and matching process. Also, in 2025, I plan to have a new series where my husband picts my products, and I'm sure there will be some mixing and matching there too.
Thanks for this information! Your hair is beautiful ! It’s nice to find the less expensive options. Do you ever apply product while in the shower? Your hair looked wet but not as wet as it would be soaking wet from the shower. I’m still trying to figure out what works best for my curls!
😆 you're not alone. I think we've all been there. It's been 4 years since I started this journey and I still haven't figured out what works well for my hair. I think I'm getting close though.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I generally like to style on very wet hair, but I've never done it in the shower. One, I don't want to hang out in the shower that long. Two, it may be a little too wet for my preference (which can cut down on hold and concentration of products). And three, I like to style in front of a mirror. I keep a continuous mist spray bottle by my side when styling, and you may not always see it, but my hair is very wet. The top part of my robe is soaked, and my hair is one stage shy of dripping. Every curly has different preferences and needs when deciding how wet to style. Some prefer more damp, which can give more hold and concentration to your products, but for some people, it can cause more stringy looking curls. Others, like myself, like to style on very wet hair to encourage bigger juicier curl clumps to form. And some like to style on dripping wet hair (in the shower) for Curl clumps, less product concentration, and maybe convenience. If you have very fine, easily weighed down hair, this might be a good option. Sorry for such a long-winded response 😁, but it's best to just play around with these different methods and see which you like best.
Thank you for sharing this affordable curly hair routine.
I hope it was helpful, and thank you for watching! 😊
Tressame are good products to me. I have used them for years. Your hair looks great, even second day.👍🌹
Thank you for watching. I'd love to know which products are your favorite from TRESemmé.
