Thanks for the helpful comparison! NYM recently added a spray gel to the curl talk line and I haven't heard many folks talking about. It is very light weight and gives me fluffy, softly defined results when I use it on its own, but layered under a mousse I get the perfect balance of volume and definition! It has been perfect for me this winter. We will see how it holds up in the summer humidity.

I like the Aussie side a little better, I think because the curls wasn’t so uniform ….. 🥋 have tried all the NYM when they first came out and everyone and their Mom was raving about it but not me, there was so much film left on my hair, I even tried them by theirselves… it was a no for me still. Will have to try the Aussie next time I need a gel. Thanks for sharing, love seeing 2 different brands and then the outcomes ✨✨✨

I think we've all tried NYC when we started our CHJ. I have tried the volume gel from Aussie yet, but I have tried the Instant Freeze gel. I never thought a gel would give much, if any volume. I thought the NYC side gave a better outcome.

I ordered from the Curlsmith 40% off so I could get the Curl Defining Styling Soufflé in the larger size for $28 and a spare Shape Up Aqua Gel. They sent the Aqua Gel but did not receive the Styling Soufflé. I emailed them and after a few days of explaining etc they said they were out of stock. I figured that’s why they didn’t send it and Thankfully they had it. I am very disappointed in the company for all this trouble. I wonder if you or anyone had shipping problems with Curlsmith. A really informative video.

Loved this comparison… I like the Doux on you a little more because it had a lil less definition n more volume ( my kind of Wash n Go) 😊 didn’t see the frizz on that side I’m sure cuz of the camera. When you put it to one side n not down the middle I saw all the volume and loved your results even better. I have both foams but only used the doux with their 808 base gel. I like my results not my fav but not my worse. I havent tried the crazy foam yet I will try next to just see how it looks on me. Thanks for sharing 💥💥💥

I have both of those in my stash. It is hard to say which side is better, maybe the Crazy Sexy Curl was a bit better than the Mousse Def. But both sides did held up pretty well for as a single styler.

I just got the Mousse Def and have paired it with Kinky Curly Curling Custard with great results! I debated between the two that you tried. I might have to check TJ Maxx for the honey one.

I really like your channel. I've been watching a lot of your videos, and I love how you show you don't need a TON of product. So many influencers use WAY too much, and I find it confusing as to how much I really need. I just started my journey with wavy hair about 3 weeks ago. My hair has always been very fine and straight, never holding a curl for more than a few minuets. The last couple of years, I've noticed a change, and realized I now have wavy hair. Someone told me it's probably from having Covid. I know menopause can cause the same thing, but that happened over ten years ago, lol...Anyway...thank you for your videos.

Who doesn't love chocolate? 😯 The only Black Friday sale I really took advantage of was Ecoslay. I did buy the mini sizes of the new Curl Keeper shampoo and conditioner but that was before Black Friday. I'm not really a fan of the mint scent but at least it doesn't linger too much.

Wowwww you got some good stuff. Did I need to buy anything NOOOOO, however last year I didn’t and love CR sales, I finally got the Curlmaker… never tried that and it was $10 couldn’t beat that. I know they compare that to UFD (which is one of my fav gels) so I want to see how my curls like that. Also I got a deep conditioner from them I go thru deep conditioners fairly quickly and then the new Guava line. I never buy a whole line it’s usually just the stylers but wanted to try the whole thing 😊Also got Patterns mousse because it’s on my list of favorites. So not too bad and I need to restock on Pattern. Thanks for sharing ✨✨✨

I did buy the CR Guava collection the smell is not overpowering it actually smells like guava and not artificial. Can’t wait to use. I saw that Rizo’s stick for slick back I have one by Cantù and love it . Thanks for sharing . Can’t wait to see what u purchased😊

Nice haul 🎉 my best deal was from Soultanicals. I didn’t get the best deal from Inahsi because I hesitated. I did purchase travel sizes for 10 products. I only got a full size refresher spray. I also got an okay deal on Rizos Curls new biotin line and Ouidad.

I dislike the Ecoslay packaging. I love their banana deep conditioner but refuse to store it in the fridge and so far it has been fine. I did buy the new Lemondrop foam with the pump bottle during their Black Friday sale where they had 50% off for the first two hours (after that it dropped to 40%). I would never pay full price for it.

Even though there’s not a lot this quarter, everything sounds enticing. I purchased the Rizos Curls collection and I have the Camille Rose Guava collection in my Target cart. If you ever try the Soultanicals Butta shampoo, try it on your strands first 10 minutes before rinsing it out. It feels like a deep conditioner that way. Great video 🎉

The lemon drop did peek my interest, when I saw @SwavyCurlyCourty used it & she loved it. She did consider it a good one and done styler. I don't mind paying the price for something that works great for my hair. But because my hair is medium density and long, with lots of grey, it requires a lot of products, I really don't think I'll be getting it.

My first mousse was a foam. When I ordered it again, it’s runny. The company has been working with me by sending 2 more pumps and finally a new mousse. The new one is runny too. Have you noticed that?

I really like the miche cleansed and the she scent it Royal honey and argan shampoo,they both are moisturizing but gives a good clean ☺️

I guessed 5! I'm impressed by how many products you were able to finish up. I have fine wavy hair and don't need much to weigh down my hair. It takes forever for me to finish up anything and usually end up throwing it out because it just gets old. 😞

I don't think there's anything wrong with talking about products that didn't work for you. So many TH-camrs are concerned with saying anything negative and I find it hard to take them seriously because how can everything you tried be great? And just because something didn't work for you doesn't mean that it won't work for me. We all have different hair needs and that's totally fine! I surprisingly really enjoyed the Curlsmith volume line the first time I tried it. My hair always falls very flat so I was surprised to actually see some volume. The mousse is very heavy, though. The second time I tried the line I ended up with a flat stringy mess. My hair gets over moisturized very easily so a good hair day is not always guaranteed. ☺️

I have the Aunt Jackie's custard & Lottabody foam in my stash, I just haven't tried them yet. I hate the new formula Pantene hairspray too. I bought what was shown on Amazon, the old formula, they sent me the new formula! I was not happy & I can't return it bc it's an aerosol. I bought 2. I'm going to try to give them away.
