- We visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach for one last time in 2019 on the final day of the season, we try to ride as many coasters as possible to finish the season whilst giving our thoughts on those rides and how we've found them to be over the year.

Amazing vlog as usual!😁 I’m not sure what I’d like to see replace steeplechase if it goes but it’s definitely the ideal space for a new coaster although I’d love to see the park get a new flat ride first. Maybe an intamin gyro swing!
Went Monday last week, it only took us 5 minutes in the queue for the big one. I last went on it 5 years ago and we queued for 2 and a half hours. I was amazed. I also tried the Valhalla for the first time: once at the start (never again I was so cold) and another at the end of our trip. Absolutely brilliant. Icon is my new favourite now though, topping the grand national!

when i used to work on beach back in 90s i went on steeple chase with no lights on
scared the shit out of me.i worked on the rev this was the good old days were you
could just walk on.i remember the fun house burning down.my brother used to have
a pub near the to the park called the beach,good old days

Just been watching a lot of video of yours today! Came across a discussion video and it was about advertising outside of blackpool. I remember a while back maybe 2014-2016 that there where advert in the Liverpool and Chester area, now I haven’t seen an advert in years on my TV!

It's been a pleasure to watch and I've enjoyed the vlogs, as well as going to some of the parks for myself with your recommendations. It's always sad to see a season end, but here's to more vlogs, laughter, water slides and coasters in 2020.

I can’t believe there is a Valhalla enthusiast! That’s the first time I’ve ever come across ‘Mike’ - what a guy eh! He’s certainly got his head screwed on with his hi vis protective clothing.
Thanks for the videos from BPB this season - all the vids keep you in the loop of what’s going on around the park and make ya feel like you’ve been apart of the place when not there.

casino part of water park is going so you may see the trap door slide as well blackpool is looking good and plus the flytng coaster at central and the vr stuff at the tower , more people to support it more hotels as well great stuff
I only managed to be there for a few hours on Sunday but it was the best few hours I've had at the park this season, absolutely amazing end 😀
Agree with the comments on Grand National, would be great to see an RMC conversion

At Steeplechase they could place a nice Mack Spinning coaster. A big costum one or a clone of Dwervelwind. Still hoping they will place a Mack Big Dipper at the old Wild Mouse place.
Great finish to the season perhaps next year you could ask permission to do a late night ride/dark ride Big One POV and film it in 4K. With Blackpool lit up with illuminations it could be stunning.

You're right, steeplechase does take up a lot of space and I hasn't particularly noticed it before, I don't think Blackpool needs any further thrill rides (except perhaps a thrilling flat in the place of sky force).
I think revolution, infusion big one and icon are enough for most people, and so I'd love to see a family spinning coaster in that space 10 years from now, perhaps dwervelwind-esque. Also, some vest restraints for infusion please.

I certainly hope steeplechase stays in the long run as it's currently the last of its kind and I'd hate to see that iconic sign at the front gate Get torn down.
Didn't somebody say that even with steeplechase being out it would still be difficult to build without taking out the dipper as well?
Plus icon now goes through that space as well.

Mark and Mike are bang on the money when they say the national needs later trains, i've been saying that for God knows how long now😂
Either millennium flyers or if possible rebuild the old trains which ever works best and which ever is the most feasible.
Have you ever experienced millennium flyer trains. They restrict airtime and tighten down throughout the ride. Newer PTC trains are the best option or maybe timberliners.
maybe its just me nut it feels like the big one is slightly better than icon at the moment when i was at the night ride on saturday

Who officially opened the big one in Blackpool was it a famous band? The reason I ask is that myself and a few mates came to Blackpool on the first May bank holiday which was before the official opening to the public and rode,it ,a couple of weeks later the official opening was broadcast on tv am I imagining things or not 👍 Back then it was £3 a ride

love the grand national but gotta agree some places need to be retracked and i think it could also do with a god painting too
definetely new trains. i think by far it would be the best woodie on the park if it wasnt as rough. i enjoyed the grand national more than the dipper even tho it was extremely rough. i live the big dipper as well tho

what icon ride you up to i have done 70 some guy has done 1000, its a great park and the water park is excellent as well roll on 2020 not opening weekend no carnage this time

Not impressed with the icon team, when I went in April, it was some of the last rides of the day, and I was queuing for front row,m. They made me go middle row after queuing extra because everyone else queuing for the other rows had finished their ride. So they wouldn’t let the remaining front row riders go on the ride by themselves. So they put us all on one ride in the middle rows (obviously the 2 at the front of the queue went on the front row). I get that they would have to do 2 extra rides but it still is unacceptable

I've had my fair share of bad experiences with Icon staff, for the most part though they are really nice but they keep on messing around talking to each other with the stupid walkie talkies instead of doing their job, and I get that you should have fun while working and enjoy it but when all 3 trains are stacking, and have been for over a minute because you won't shut the fuck up an do your job... thats when things get REALLY annoying

In my opinion, I think that big space, currently being occupied by Steeplechase, could in the future be occupied by a looping coaster, a bit like The Smiler but not as many inversions and not as...
