    We need women in science too. Thinking that men are better at science than women and other socially constructed gender stereotypes are idiotic, because , women, just like men have intelligence , talents and bright ideas that we need. People aren't the same , deny it as much as you want, but women can be good at things that society likes to think that men are better at.

      Lol stop the cap😂😂 Men are naturally better at logical, analytic and critical thinking than women. The world is built and discovered by men. Science is a field which is only made for men and women have different roles... women are just as important as men but in a different way. You feminists need to accept that and stop trying being like men because it's really cringe and society is going downhill because of it. Now cry me a river.

    • @Fandar

      @@officialbenzine4075 Nope. There is no proof that men are better than women at anything but strength and athleticism. Also, even if men are naturally a little 'better' than women at science hypothetically, that doesn't mean science is ONLY made for men, and women have no place in it at all.

    • @Fandar

      @@officialbenzine4075 Men are only stronger than women. Not smarter. The only reason men invented so much more is because women didn't have rights back then because we lived in a patriarchy that thinks every single career in the university is better suited for men and women are only good for being house slaves. That was wrong because as females have proven to be smarter than males in a lot of ways. In almost every country in the world, girls do better academically than boys. YOU stop the cap.

I know you didn't say anything like that but I'am just saying that assuming that men are better than science than women and other socially constructed gender stereotypes are idiotic because women, just like men have intelligence, talent , and bright ideas that we need. @sarahjr999 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@Thraesja Thank you for supporting this discussion. I've recently been looking into the issue of women not being given credit in various fields and some of the instances have been appalling. In this case, the choice of not listing the CEO first in favour of an alphabetical list has no logic and, to me, feels like an excuse to belittle a woman's position. At the time of typing, it's still not been fixed - CEO and founder Elise Andrew is still listed third, after two male staff writers. I'm just not getting it... Considering the lack of credit given to women in science, it seems crass and insensitive at the very least.

      That is Emmy Noether, known for her famous theorem "Noether's Theorem'. This basically proved that why energy is conserved and even how it is conserved locally. But guess what? not only energy it showed that anything that is continuous will have that conservation law similar to the energy. Like Waves and radiations such as light. That led us to the Theory of relativity from Einstein. This was as much as an important concept as Einstein's, but she didn't get so much recognition for her work, sadly..

    • @sarahjr999
      @sarahjr999 4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Agreed on the clumsy language. But Rosalind Franklin was excluded from the team that won the Nobel Prize - they stole her work instead of asking to work with her. And, apparently, although the Nobel Prize Committee won't recognize people posthumously in terms of prizes, they apparently didn't recognize her contribution at all? Which, if true, would be crass. And I think it's reasonable to assume from past experience that she probably would not have gotten the prize along with Crick and Watson, because they took her work and she was a woman, and that seems to be the MO. So I agree on the clumsy language, but I think it's important, in pointing that out, to make sure the example doesn't get written off as 'she would've been acknowledged' when she almost certainly wouldn't have been. She is still barely acknowledged. I've just been doing a Uni science intro module and she barely got mentioned, while Crick and Watson were bigged up for everything they did. I did challenge it.
