Something to note about Nowhere to hide: The aura reading is from *your* position, not from the position of the gen. If you're playing someone like Sadako or Mint Rag Hag, you can kick the gen and warp somewhere else while still retaining the aura reading effects.
I noticed this with survivors right at the edge of the range of nowhere to hide. When I kick the gen and then move, sometimes auras will show up while I'm moving.
I like the idea of hearing the knight get hit with a pallet and it sounds like someone dropped some spoons in the kitchen at 3am trying not to wake up their family.
Before i started playing the knight I've heard TONS of people say how the knight was just another 3 gen killer, but recently i picked him up and he surprisingly feels fun to play and not as 3 gen dependant as people made him sound. I've really been enjoying him because it feels like he is one of the easier killers to spread pressure with. Have a guard chase one survivor while you chase someone else, patrol lanes a survivor would use to leave one section while searching ect. He feels like an alternate version of twins less focused on slugging and more focused on multitasking mid/pre chase.
The only Knight to secure a 4k in my matches absolutely demolished us in 6 minutes and made 0 mistakes. Once others learn him and his bugs are fixed, he might be better than we all think he is. Right now, Lithe+W counters better than anything.
I really wanna know if anyone saw you out in some random field pummeling a poor trash can with a fold-up chair and speculated how many mental illnesses you have
Legion was supposed to have the ability to switch between "survivor mode" and "killer mode" to throw off survivors and just be confusing. The issue is that once playtests started, it was a hot steaming pile of dog shit on a warm summers day and it got switched into some random bullshit that makes no sense with the killer's lore
I just had a thought that would make the knight actually fucking cool, outside of making his power actually work what if you had to choose a guard like a perk, and each guard had a talent tree that you could customize. Now that would be sick
we are talking about BHVR coding prowess, they didn't even make it's AI functional what makes you think they can make something like that? the closest there is are the Rare Addons that are like "If a survivor gets hit or escapes an hunt they gain X Status Effect"
well just use them wisely . Like the carnifex is for insta break pallet and squize them in a corner , The jailer for patrol and breaking gen and the assassin doing hes assassin thing the rest is all up to you .
The gen kicking perk is absurdly good. It doesn’t actually show the aura of survivors near gens, that radius follows you. Pair that with Lethal Pursuer and that’s seven straight seconds of seeing the aura of everyone around you no matter where you go after kicking.
"Wesker's power is complicated, but he was also sold to you a good thirteen years ago." Truer words have never been spoken. Same can be said of Pinhead too, only add a few more decades to that.
they call him the camping king because he can just sit in front of the hook and reap perks' rewards like devour. for some reason, the game counts him MOVING HIS ORB LIKE THE ACTUAL KILLER, so when he pushes his orb far from the hook and someone unhooks, he gains a stack of devour.
About Nurse and Hubris: It's quite rare that a nurse actually gets stunned by a pallet due to the nature of her power so it's not nearly as consistent as other perks that combo extremely well with her.
It depends. She cannot be "stunned" in the regular sense while blinking because it is just a very long animation that cannot be interrupted, but if the game still registers the pallet drop as a stun then Hubris would activate. Can anyone confirm?
Dead Man's Switch can also work with the guards. They force survivors off gens and the kicked gens will start regressing as soon as they are unblocked. I also use Play With Your Food on him since you can start a chase with the obsession if you run into them while in spirit orb mode, and your guards do not reduce your PWYF stacks.
See, even if the knight is less than ideal (he has his uses), his opposed survivor Vittorio has some perks that I fucking love. Fogwise is a great info gathering perk, Potential Energy is just fun to play with, and Quick Gambit makes him really handy when he starts looping
This is kinda what i thought and wanted legion to be, something like using your power on windows sends Suzy to block then using it on pallets or walls sends Joey to brake then and using it on a survivor sends Julie to chase them for 12 seconds slower than you faster than them if they are out of her sight it takes less time for her to retreat
1:10 i am getting pretty invested in the game right now after playing it on and off for months. Yeah, i want the knight because he looks COOL and has THE LADS.
He's called the camping killer because he can bring perks like Devour and Make Your Choice and stand next to the hook while using his power because the game thinks he's standing where his green orb is when determining how far away from the hook he is.
I have actually played around with company banner and can safely say that it is similar to having victor on your back and the player tries to escape. It blocks the exit for them while hunted, they get hit, and it stays blocked for about 3 seconds more, what I have done (and it is hilarious by the way) is make a guard hunt one of those teabagging survivors at the exit walk right up to them, gaurd smacks, I smack and I hook em.
Best strategy I have is rather gimmicky and really depends on your ability to area control. Basically, if you can’t down most survivors by the 3rd generator you need to let them get the 4th and use your patrol ability while camping the last two generators. The gimmicky aspect comes in when you factor in the map and how close the last two gens are. Any map that’s even moderately big pretty much negated this strategy and at that point you really can’t do much with that strat.
Funny. I was watching some of your other DBD videos last night and *just* thinking about how I hoped you'd cover the Knight. It's a Thanksgiving miracle!

So discourage them from doing that, play the loops. Send you guard in their W-keying path to force them to play the loops (again, the range addon comes in play here. Like there're so many avenues you can venture through with a knight theme, chivalry, a sword and shield, some kind of duel, a horse and lance, there's probably more. But this group idea is the perfect goddamn way to do Legion's power thematically correct. There's even 4 of them. You could even give Legion's power to a different killer like a blood collector who stabs a lot of survivors to collect a lot of different kinds of blood because in their life they had a rare blood disease and when they collect enough blood they transform with the classic catch-phrase "It's morbin time!".
what you failed to mention is how buggy this guy is/this patch is. 1. If you are in your power and get stunned, you now move at your powers movement speed instead of 115% for the rest of the tiral, so you just zoom around the map and beat evryone. 2. If you use your power to break a generator/door/ext, the power will just turn off and stop working sometimes. 3. Maps now will spawn fat shaming spots, which are infinite loops where the survivor can fit through a spot, but the killer can't. Happens a lot on autohaven. All things that were problems in the PTB but were never addressed or fixed.
I think whenever the knight gets stunned he should say “Tis but a scratch”
