Its as if the problem isnt VWs but theyr owners not taking care of them.
Or maybe I'm just overthinking things
@@SummonerArthur maybe you are right. It's just I feel that a Honda is inherently more reliable than a VW,although I have seen VW Jettas run smooth without any major Issues too.
@@fleetSRTthe person that owned the Honda just took terrible care of it, with stance cars you do usually have a bit more upkeep like any modded car but they just completely neglected everything, the exhaust the alinement, everything was just terrible, and the car was falling apart the whole time
@@fleetSRT Honestly they both did well, the Honda didn't actually have issues, the car was just so low it was destroying the exhaust, but the engine itself was fine.
@@SummonerArthur nah those VWs definitely have more issues than those Hondas, the 1.8t is a stout little engine but the PCV on that AWP 1.8t is an overly complex failure prone mess, add onto that some of the other cheap plastic failure prone bits in the engine bay.. Hondas definitely a little less troublesome. Source: 03 Jetta GLS at 290whp and 130k miles
This is pure gold. Keep in doing. Great camera operations and great trip. All the best for all crew.
imagine the cops see these videos... as the cops I would be like: "well should have arrested them."
The bloopers were great. Everything I needed after that long, tense, sad series of "car stuff"
I love seeing my TSX on TH-cam!!
you made that shit?
@@bigmastertyrone no I bought it from Ben
@@fuzzy0777 oh, how are the frame rails?
@@bigmastertyrone really not to bad. I'm going to grind the rusted parts from scraping and reundercoat it all
You actually bought it?
This road trip had to be among the best ones out there. Was laughing throughout the series. Great content. ❤️❤️
I would love to see a road trip where you guys pick whatever car you want and take it
I remember seeing you guys as I was driving back home too! I live in the outskirts of stl! Feel free to stop by if you ever want to see a massive amount of imported VWs and japanese cars, a big community rich in every single thing!
Worried about random lights on the dashboard, someone has never driven a VW before
Y'all stopped in Limon, CO huh? That's where we stop on our way from home (KS) to the cabins we stay at in CO. You're not lying about the amazing views out there. Impressed you survived the mountain roads in the Acura, they can feel kind kinda sketch even in a stock car. I really enjoy your racing content but this has been entertaining as well. Keep it up guys!
One of the best road trips you guys have done. Never stop
This might be my favorite Gears and Gasoline episode of all time
If you guys haven't given up on road trips, I think it would be really funny to watch you guys buy cheap cars at auction for each other and then try to drive them across the country! This was a fun series.
7:00 Kinda mad you guys didn't do this photo-shoot though. That killer sunset AND an uninterrupted row of road closed signs in the middle of a desert? It would have looks SOOOO GOOOD
Guys you've been a big part of my weekend. Hope you guys keep makin video as long as I live
19:24 I love how there’s an sti in the background chillin at advanced lol
