Thank you for watching! 💛 Sadly, no. There was a direct connection between Paris and Milan, but a landslide wrecked the rails last summer and it won't be reinstated until later this year. The fastest route by rail now takes around 11 hours: from Paris to Zurich, then Zurich to Milan, and finally Milan to Florence. Although we are fans of train trips, at this point it's probably better to fly from Paris to Milan and then take a Frecciarossa/Italo to Florence, which takes about 90 minutes. Let us know if you have any other questions!
@wanderfulstops8488 It is faster to take the Nice-Milan-Florence route, but the difference is only about 60 minutes. The Nice-Pisa-Florence route is definitely more scenic, as it goes through the Italian Riviera, which is awesome. One piece of advice: there are fewer trains from Nice to Florence via the Riviera, and only "Intercity" trains: If you are planning to travel during summer, book in advance because they sell out fast, especially on weekends!
great video, loved it!🙂 just wanted to know is there any direct train that goes from paris to florence
