Went to Paris in 2005. I’ll be going again in May 2023 for a painting retreat near Toulouse, and adding on 4 days in Paris before heading home.

Excellent video and suggestions. Your schedule will leave the tourist exhausted but guarantee they see the most sights in 48 hours...they may need another 48 to recover from the pace. We agree a river cruise at night is a must; we did a dinner cruise and the lights were fantastique! Despite your schedule of seeing all those sights, it still leaves out the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, Le Marais, and more...but even a little Paris is better than no Paris.

      Hi @geograph-ology4343,
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience! You're absolutely right - the itinerary is quite packed and is meant for those who want to get the most out of their short stay in Paris. The idea of a dinner cruise to enjoy the city lights is brilliant, and I'm glad to hear you had a fantastic time doing that.
Regarding the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, and Le Marais, you've touched on some of my favorite spots in Paris! It's always a challenge to cover everything in such a vibrant city within a limited timeframe. I'm planning to create more videos focusing on these beautiful areas and their unique attractions, so stay tuned!
Your input is invaluable, and it helps me tailor the content to what fellow travelers like you find most useful and enjoyable. Thanks again for watching and for your comment!

Hello and thank you for watching!
Consider that Paris is very big but the metro works perfectly so moving from one landmark to another won’t be a big issue. Uber works smoothly as well without being crazy expensive so you have plenty of options for sightseeing without too much of a headache!

Were going there for 2 days next month. What mid-range hotel do you recommend? Thanks and thank you for the video

Hotels in Paris can be expensive. From my personal experience I would suggest you to check the Saint Germain or Le Marais areas, big enough to host many accommodations, close enough to the city centre, but far enough from the Opera for being reasonably affordable. The Tour Eiffel area is not super close to the other major landmarks and might not be handy for moving around, especially having only 2 days. Saint Germain might be a good pick if you are going to visit the main museums. Hope it helps and let me know if you need more info! Thank you for watching! 💛

Thank you, @baljit4281, for pointing that out! You're absolutely right; that scene was indeed in Venice, not Paris. It looks like we made an editing mistake. We appreciate your keen eye and taking the time to inform us. We'll make a note of this for future videos to ensure we're as accurate as possible. Thanks again for your support and for watching!

You didn't suggest Notre Dame cathedral 🤔 but thanks

thank you for watching @karesage2889 and for pointing that out! 💛 Indeed, at the time of filming, Notre Dame Cathedral was undergoing extensive repairs and was not accessible to the public, which is why it wasn't included in our suggested itinerary. However, we absolutely agree that the Île de la Cité, the island where Notre Dame is located, is a must-visit for its beauty and historical significance.

@karesage2889 Awesome! You can expect great weather, long enough days for plenty of outdoor explorations, and the fashion capital at its most vibrant with Fashion Week happening in the last week! Expect the city to be extra stylish and bustling. Moreover, the makeup for the Olympics will be all done, leaving the city even more beautiful than before!

@towntraveltips thank you, I think we just miss fashion week as we arrive 24th Sept. I would have loved to have timed our visit for the opening of Notre Dame cathedral in December but sadly not to be. I will still admire the beautiful structure from outside as I believe the scaffolding (if not all, most of it) will have been removed when we are there. I have planned a fabulous 5 week European holiday around this type of content and I can't tell you how helpful yours and others have been. Paris was difficult compared to other cities and areas we are visiting because there is so much to see but I feel I have planned a good couple of days without stressing about what we cannot see. Thanks again

@@karesage2889 It sounds like you have an amazing European holiday planned, and we're thrilled to have been able to help with your preparation! Even from the outside, visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral is still bound to be a great experience. The effort to preserve and restore such a historic landmark is a sight to see in itself. Safe travels and enjoy Europe, which will be at its best by the end of September! ☀

A French croissant is NEVER filled with anything but AIR. You start with a typical American cliché.
A 48 hours stay in Paris is risky: you may spoil it because of the rush and frustration of all that you are missing. Agreed, you won't stay 2 days in le Louvre but there is NO WAY you may expect to see it all in 2 days. La Sainte Chapelle will take your breath away, the world's first department store "Au Bon Marché" in the 6th Arrondissement for extraordinary food. How about a visit to the Paris Marina "Port de l'Arsenal" near Bastille and a stroll along the canal Saint Martin. The Paris townhall and nearby Centre Pompidou for modern art and mediathèque. How about the BNF (Blibliothèque Nationale de France), probably the largest library on earth?
Never miss the "Jardin des Plantes" if you love flowers, plants, tropical plants animals on 23 hectares in the center of Paris especially during the blooming season.
The only way to make it is to plan a modest visit and along the visit, take good note of all you are missing for the next visit.

Hello! 💛 Thank you for watching! Indeed, while traditional French croissants are typically filled with nothing but air, it's not uncommon to enjoy them with jam on the side in many places. Our mention was intended to playfully reference popular variations, rather than to perpetuate a misconception.
We completely agree with you that Paris is a vast city with endless treasures, and 48 hours won't do it full justice. Your suggestions are fantastic, and it's evident that there's so much passion and love you have for the city. It's our hope that our short trip might inspire others to take longer, more immersive journeys to Paris in the future. We always encourage everyone to return and explore more, and your list just gives even more reasons to do so. We'll definitely keep these recommendations in mind for our next visit. À bientôt! 🇫🇷🥐🗼
