I got one of the cores they sold. Mine is from Turn 5. Road America is one of my favorite places in the country to visit, and that core displays proudly in my home.
@@thatonenigeriansformula it’s a lot smoother. That’ll make a huge difference with Indycar, especially with the medium and high speed corners of road America
@@thatonenigeriansformula Indy NXT cars are doing 1:49’s on this new repave. Last years they were doing 1:53’s. Every since series this year so far have beaten track records. Bikes too. This idea that new pavement is slowest is false. This track is stupid fast now.
@@thatonenigeriansformula No shit sherlock, but patterns tell stories. THe pattern is every series that has raced this year has broken their track record. And like I said would happen, Indycar did in fact break the overall lap record, by a second and they broke the previous record of this gen car by almost 4 seconds. So maybe you should work on your critical thinking skills before talking like an idiot.
After watching the Indy Cars and The June Sprints I must say I’m a bit concerned. Every corner saw an Indy Car off. The track was eating cars during the June Sprints as well. The word is it’s tricky on the line. Off line its over.
By the end of the race, the track will be perfect ... fully rubbered in, smooth as glass, and all the grip you want! But this season's about physical racing. They're going to hip-check one another out into the rough. Contact, but fair contact ... 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘺. No question, the winning run will be a standout, ie., a benchmark run. A good place for Coyne/Malukas to be a standout.

Crazy, a full restoration with the legacy in mind 😎
Finally!! A race track that actually puts money back into the race surface! Where it really counts!! Great Job!!!!
Bucket list track for me. Great insight ahead of the weekend.
Loved it . Road America rocks
I missed your reports Marshall, welcome back.
GTP drivers will be drooling
Enjoyed that AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL race track! WOW!!!
Love the patches on the shirt, Marshall! And the new surface!
This track is gonna be ridiculously quick this year.
Fresh track is slower, in race conditions in qualy not so much , especially when it rains the pace plummets

Nice segment Marshall
All the keyboard experts saying they don't think they will go faster this weekend need to watch this. Great hearing all the info.
I have my core and its the best Christmas present I could have ever asked for!
that's really cool thank you! road America is definitely on my bucket list
☮️❤️🎵🤗🌍🏁
awesome best track in the country ..when its not raining,,, go fund me some tires ,,,, nice job on 23
Fresh for Lemons in October.

Pretty awesome I would love to see MotoGP there
Well, I guess I finally got a reason to go to Wisconsin again!
After the ridiculous washboard surface of Detroit the drivers will think they are floating.
That is the exact feeling you have. As a Michigan resident that is how I feel when I cross into Indiana or Ohio on I-75 or I-69.
Hey Sonoma, Get with the program.
if only everyday roads were smooth, infrastructure lol
All this made possible with the cup series comes for 2 events
F1 would the ultimate goal. Don’t believe F1 would come to Wisconsin due to not enough money would profit vs Miami or Vegas.
That looks really fresh , it will be so slippy out there
Not at all! Indy NXT beat their lap record by 4 seconds today. 1:53 down to 1:49. It’ll probably get beaten in Q tomorrow
@@dunnock343ts was, the cars wouldnt stop spinning i knew what i was talking about
@@thatonenigeriansformula What do you mean? There weren't any more spins than usual.

Interesting expansion of the word “harvested”.
This might be the NASCAR fan in me, but the concept of repaving what was already a brilliant track scares me.
Thats an oval problem. I cant think of any road course that has actually been ruined by a repave
WGI was much better for everyone, including stock cars, after havring that track repaved. I would expect Road America to be no different.
