Hand Engraving a Protech Malibu Knife

Here's a Protech Malibu knife that I hand engraved.
The handles are red anodized aluminum. The problem with engraving metal that's been finished like on this knife is, you cannot make a mistake and scratch the metal. If you scratch the coating on the metal badly, you will not be able to fix the scratch like on a bare metal.
So, I have to cut them carefully, make sure my graver is sharp to prevent slippage.
