- Today I'll show you How I Survived Mr. Beast's Minecraft Challenge by using my anarchy survival skills to build a civilization for him in under 24 hours. But little did I know, I was going to be at a MAJOR disadvantage.

If only you could use arrows in this. That would have made any attack on your base a living hell for the enemy.
As well, with their tactics, it would have been hard to get in from the air. One shot from the arrow, and boom, they are knocked off and vulnerable in the ocean.

Yeah its kindve weird that they couldnt, i instantly thought ocean could actually be a good one to defend with long range weapons (and the peakdown parts most of the bases seemed to have built in) but then i realized they only seemed to be using melee, i guess it maybe makes the pvp faster and more 'intense' but it kindve removes a lot of possible strategy.
Edit: Just got to the part where fit explains it in this video (there wasnt any mention of it in the other vid i watched). I guess that makes sense if thats how the server mechanics have to be setup here, but it still kindve sucks, especially for a team stranded in the ocean with little natural resources. They did well though considering

Isn't one of the main draws of a fort is that you can shoot at attackers from a safe place

Mr. Beast missed an opportunity with his video. I saw his and was like "cool, that was interesting," but seeing this, the behind the scenes was WAY more involved than I thought! He glossed over the craziest part of the challenge!
I assumed all the stuff was mostly pre-built and he just spawned everyone in with diamond armor. Seeing the prep and teamwork over the course of a day was insane! Would love to see more like this.

ive played in a couple civilization events like this one before (much lower profile of course) and the thing about your background of a school teacher helping to organize people is honestly so true, when you have that many people in a discord call playing minecraft its a near impossible task to make sure everyone is doing something useful
And so many people are just sooooooooooooooo stupid. Also some events give players the opportunity to overthrow you, so you have to deal with those morons that just try to kill just for chaos as well.

I would've suggested having a small team dedicated to wall repair, I think it would've increased longevity massively as from what I saw here, the more people attacked you the easier it became to get in.

For surviving 90 minutes with only 100 people against 300 people, maybe more, i gotta say. That is some of the best fighting I have ever seen

If projectiles worked on the server I can guarantee that your team would’ve won. A mixture of projectiles and water would’ve been a nightmare for the enemy teams.

I feel like this was actually way more interesting than the actual video up on MrBeast's channel, Fit truly is a master of storytelling. Even though I already knew the outcome I was still invested. MrBeast's video made it feel like a fun little challenge, Fit's video made it feel like an all out war, I love it!

He IS a history teacher after all , so I guess mimicking the tactics that worked in the past would maybe work in minecraft as well
Uhhhh those are completely different situations. The Ardennes allowed for Germany to get their tanks through the forest BECAUSE it was on land. On sea it's different. You can't simply move tanks across the ocean, you have to use ships to do that. And that's exactly why France fell so fast and Britain held on for the entire war. Because it's hard transporting German tanks and soldiers across an entire channel when they're getting bombed by enemy ships and planes. That was the entire purpose for the Battle of Britain, where Germany tried getting rid of Britain's air force and morale so the British couldn't fight back and destroy German ships.
It didn't go well for Germany, by the way.
In other words, the sea/ocean is a WAYYYYY better natural barrier than any forest in the world.

@@LyokoisGreat2 Yeah, if he was gonna be given a huge disadvantage, so his only option is defense, and then take away projectiles, something crucial to any defense, then he should have at least been able to choose his team.

@@MIlodOz0n I was actually a broken man that somehow got both roles so was able to mine and build. However, I was on the strike team and was a fighter that travelled outside of the base. However after getting pressured, we were recalled to base to defend. If you see the MrBeast video, you can see me defending the slime. My video detailing exactly what I did in detail will be out in the next few days.
Fit is a strategy king. He knows how to maximize every aspect of Minecraft, and is experiencing working in chaotic teams.

8:38 u couldve used an enderstasis chamber with an item shadowing. whenever you are low, drop any item which is shadowed into a chest. when the chest detects that ur item left ur inventory, it activates a trapdoor in an enderstasis chamber

I'm still curious how everyone coordinated so well with the builds. (see "I Forced 150 Players to Simulate a Minecraft Civilization" for an example where people just do random things and the bases look crappy) Like how do you make an army of people build something uniform/smooth?

I think that the walls could be like a chess table, having obsidian intercalating with the rock. So if the other team managed to reach at the top, it could be harder just break blocks below they to down to the base, bc each 1 block would have an obsidian.

i was rooting for the ocean biome, i imagined your team would be the last biome standing against forest or jungle biome , but damn that defense was awesome
They would have won if they were able to use bows, with their insane enchanting setup, and just how nuts enchanted bows can get, and their walls vs the people swimming in the ocean. Just getting to them would be a nightmare

i was in ice team, but unfortunatly i had mcbirken as my leader.
McBirken banned like 20 people from our team without any reason at all. And ofcoure i was one of them...
The reason i got banned was because that i was the first to get diamond armour... so ofcourse, they scammed me for my armour and then banned me...
It was still fun during the test regardless.

@@mackenziedrake bro the only difference is the language the game is written in and a lack of microtransactions in java
@@ciklop4206 And the language of the game means I have to adapt to the differences in play between the two. So far Java has been laggy and jumpy compared to Bedrock on my PC. I am told it's a difference in frame rate and can be adjusted. It will take some time I don't have right this minute.
@@mackenziedrake Get some performance improvement mods like optifine or sodium, should boost your framerate. For such a big title, minecraft is surprisingly poorly optimized, so they should be a decent improvement.
Leave it to a 2b2t master to survive under such overwhelming odds. Loved every minute of it. Keep up the awesome work Fit!

This challenge finds me sorta of skywars but on the ground and more complicated and It was more focused on defense and building instead of preparing for head on battle for a few minutes until the bridges spawn and everyone just have at it at eachother. Reminds ms of when I sucked hard at that game I wasost always first to die as soon as the time was up and it was time to fight. This sound like such a fun thing to do tbh.

This challenge was so hard, I am amazed by how you managed to pull this one off, that said I have some interesting ideas in my head. It'll be a pretty big comment, mainly explaining the idea takes a while... Yet, I am amazed by how well this went. Congrats man, you deserve a ton of likes (at least) for this.
By what I see, Fit... If my knowledge over this challenge is up to the challenge itself, and with all due respect, there was a better way to make an ocean base in here (I am an enthusiast of ocean bases). I could be wrong if there was a specific block to protect that forced you to make it on the surface, so if that was the case... Disregard my idea.
You could have built it in the below the water (probably would have been harder to find, and if done well, it would have been a pain in the backside for every single raider since mining in water can be so hard), it would have taken longer in some areas but probably would have been balance since it would make getting iron/diamonds far easier since you are in an underground base with water above you (of course, you'd need swimming boosts in headgear to prevent water drowning if the teams somehow managed to go through the defenses).
It would be certainly extremely hard to pull it off, but probably as hard as it was to make the base on the surface. Maybe you could have taken one page from Bachi's book and make a massive water wall (instead of lava wall) surrounding the base if you had enough time for that (With a massive group, it sounds feasible [Not by much margin, but still feasible]). At least it would have deterred most teams of even trying to attack your base until they had enough allies to go after it (Which would have worked well with stalling and letting the other biomes waste their strength).
That said, this is just my opinion over it (even if I believe you did it wonderfully here).
He said headgear wasn't possible because of their team specific and ocean specific water bowl helmet, so no other helmets were possible. Meaning they would waste more time mining under water putting them at a severe disadvantage. Also the slime that needed to be killed to lose was above water level to start so making it underground would have been pointless. Im pretty sure it would spawn at a specific level.

@@isoSw1fty The headgear was only for the team leader (I recall seeing more than one player of the ocean team using helmet), so they still could have made it.
The slime situation I see it happening, but wasn't sure. That's why I said: If that happens, water wall to dampen the raid (I would add too a lava wall right after the water wall, but that would take too long).
